Where I get it from (Dark Horse Edition)

They even deliver 250mi for free so we don't have to shuttle cars back and forth from Chicago to Iowa. Though it would have been fun to have been driving it today

Where I get it from (Dark Horse Edition)

Helped my mom buy this for herself today. She'd been thinking about a Mustang for a few years. Her and Dad started married life with a 72 mustang and had several before Mopar. Even I've owned 3 of them. Dark Horse is a cool dude. Need to get it through the break in period to get that 5.0 into...

    Engine bogging down on acceleration

It's all how we describe the seat of the pants stuff I guess. Yes lean but with correct accel pump doesn't stumble but will just feel weak all the time. I don't call that a bog. You figure that out by going up 2 jet sizes and see if it feels more powerful with no black out the tail pipe. Bog...

    Engine bogging down on acceleration

New Eddy's The 750 has problems that even changing the rods, jets, and springs can't cure from my experience. Head scratcher but it just doesn't run hard. It'll run consistent but not hard. If I was buying any new Eddy I'd buy 800 avs. Air door will feed it what it needs. I would never put...

    Engine bogging down on acceleration

Do you have a Bog Stutter Hesitation? Accel pump is likely for stutter or hesitation. Not for bog. Bog is usually a rich condition when transitioning circuits in the carb.

What car would you own if it couldn’t be a C Body?

I understand what you're saying but it's still funny to hear someone refer to these cars as athletic =)

What car would you own if it couldn’t be a C Body?

I've never actually met him. Never seen him with his car. But I think a few people have. Plum crazy 70 sport Fury that was a little bit racy. Saw his car a time or 2 in Chicagoland and once at drag week in Indy

What car would you own if it couldn’t be a C Body?

I accidentally became a c body owner in 1997. And really because Radar's plum crazy fury was in a magazine in the early 90's. I've had tons of b bodies and prefer them. Have had a few a and e bodies. I do wish we still had the 71 mustang I drove in high school. And I'd love a Boss 429

    2024 Hot Rod Power Tour

I never saw this, but if you're hanging in Indy and don't mind spending a few bucks the basement tour at the speedway is really cool. I was thinking of jetting down on Friday in Indy but I don't think I'm going to be able to
