Beautiful car. It looks like it was worth the wait. Now, my advice is, don't wait any longer; drive it! Welcome, congratulations, and good luck!

Stunning 1961 Dodge Dart Pioneer Flexes Rare Long Ram Induction Setup

Is this interesting, or is this confusing? My 1961 Dart Pioneer doesn't have a B pillar. The 1961 in the thread here looks to have one. They both look to be 2 door models. I guess I am interested AND confused.

WANTED Two (or four) hubcaps for 1963 300 Pacesetter wanted

Thank you, all, for your help with your responses and information. I screwed up buying the 15 inch hubcaps for my car -- my wanting got the better of my thinking. However, I think they will look great on my garage wall!

WANTED Two (or four) hubcaps for 1963 300 Pacesetter wanted

That may be, but I haven't had any luck finding hubcaps defined as original for 1963. If you can clue me in as to the proper hubcap, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your feedback.

WANTED Two (or four) hubcaps for 1963 300 Pacesetter wanted

I'm looking for two hubcaps for my 1963 Chrysler Pacesetter. I have two on hand. That said, if a set of four is out there, I would take all four rather than have a seller break up a set. Here's a picture of one of the hubcaps I have. I'm looking for two (or four) of the same. Message me if you...

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

Yes! That's the way cars look when they are admired "in the wild." So why change that look at a show?

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

My 1960 New Yorker has taken "Best Interior" and "Top 20" trophies. My patinated 1961 Dodge Dart Pioneer took one of the a "Spectators' Choice" trophies at a show I brought it to. It probably won because no one had ever seen one before! That said, no, none of my three C bodies have ever won the...

    1961 Chrysler New Yorker

Good luck with your project. The 60 and 61 New Yorkers were head turners then, and "Oh, wow!" Head turners now. Let's get a look at the interior. There are many here who can help with your Forward Look project. Keep posting!

    Accessory ???

These are very old accessories. Definitely 6 volt items. Check out the web -- quite a few listed, all sold but a handful. These perfectly plugged into the huge market of WWII veterans who got hooked on smokes during their service. Smoking was everywhere for decades. Heck, most of our classic...

WANTED Interior "aircraft style" door handles for 1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix, Pioneer, Seneca

My car doesn't have armrests that use these handles. I bought armrests that were options on Dart Phoenix and Pioneer models, planning for an easy upgrade, but the upgraded armrests don't work with the plain vanilla armrests and door handles featured in my car. I don't have examples of these...

WANTED Interior "aircraft style" door handles for 1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix, Pioneer, Seneca

I am upgrading my 2 door hardtop Pioneer armrests which require the aircraft style door handles. I have searched ebay -- not satisfied with the handles I've found for sale. I'm looking for handles in better condition than these, but I'm not looking for show car quality - my car is a driver...

    Fathers day car show.

I take it as a badge of honor that we appreciate and preserve our MOPARS in the sea of Fords and Chevys. Two C Bodies in a show of 200 that isn't billed as a MOPAR event seems pretty typical. Mine was the only one at the Dad Fest show in Albany, NY today. (107 registered cars) It took a trophy...

They voted for my 1961 Dart Pioneer!

At the Albany, NY "Dad Fest" car show today, my car was recognized in the top 25 as voted by participants. It's an unrestored, patinated survivor with just a few needed things added since coming out of a barn. My hat is off to the show car owners who voted for their choices. Very few people said...

Got a deadline? And need parts for a 1963 Chrysler?

The local Memorial Day parade organizers asked if I would agree to drive my 1963 300 Pacesetter convertible in their parade. In the past, I've shepherded veteran honorees in my 1960 New Yorker. But now that it was known that I had a convertible, "That would be so much nicer!" "Absolutely!" I...
