NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe, $7,000, Huntsville, AL

I visited Sheffield Alabama to inspect this car. The owner was a real nice fellow but the car is not in very good shape. The pictures do it too much justice.

    NOT MINE 72 Polara 3K

I think the reason so few step up is, at our age (61 for me) we realize we don't want a project that isn't EXACTLY what we want. I have tried rationalizing cars but then I take forever to make a decision and wait for the price to come knowing that there are more cars out there than buyers for them.

NOT MINE 1972 Fury III $15700 In FL

Experience tells me this car was garaged carefully and for a long spell. Gas tanks can degrade over time.

There is no doubt that is a beautifully preserve Fury and if it was a 71 Gran Coupe 4dr I would be interested.

Which is Facefinger speaker for, I'm open to offers. He seems to expect 10k but I would be very surprised if he gets anywhere near that.

    WANTED 71 Fury Bucket seats

Do you believe the vinyl top material to be the same for the seats? And is this material still available to purchase? I only ask all of this because I am looking for a 71 Gran Coupe 4dr and knowing the material is still available would allow me to expand my search. Could you post a picture of...

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth fury gran coupe $7,000

But not in all cases. I have seen pictures of white with paisley top. I desire a good condition 71 Gran Coupe 4dr in Tahitian Walnut. I think the weirdness factor on these is the reason!

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler new yorker $1,234

Excuse my ignorance, but what on earth is a 'panny dropper' because if it's what I think it is, this car is not gonna do that! Much as I like it.....

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth fury gran coupe $7,000

By the time Chrysler bought out Rootes group in 1967 the Alpine roadster was getting a little long in the tooth. The Tiger, having a Ford power plant was not going to warranteed by Chrysler and the mopar small block would not fit. So, end of Alpine roadster!

Thanks Not Right, I came to the US from London 37 years ago for music and cars (2 things the US used to excel at!) and quickly identified Chrysler Corp products as the ones to focus on. Btw, the car in midnight blue is no Cricket, it's a 1969 Sunbeam Alpine coupe with 5k original miles!

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth fury gran coupe $7,000

Oops, I guess I posted twice there. I happened to be in Memphis for some music related research and made the 5 hour round trip to Sheffield where the car was located. The guy who was selling was a pleasant fellow but the minute I saw it I knew it wasn't for me. He was kind enough to let me drive...
