Get your Hankook Optimo H724 WW tires while you can!

I have the Nexen tires on one of my cars already, in the slightly smaller 225/75R15 size. They seem fine, though I've probably only driven 3000 miles on them. I just got a quote for the Nexens in 235/75R15 at $153 CAD each.

Get your Hankook Optimo H724 WW tires while you can!

I need new tires for my hardtop. I figured I'd go for 235/75R15 whitewalls this time, while I can still get some for a reasonable price from a mainline tire manufacturer. I called a local tire shop and they said the Cooper Trendsetter SE and Hankook Kinergy ST H375 are both discontinued! The...

    Headers on 383

I have Schumacher tri-y's on one of my cars. 1966 Chrysler, 451 stroker, Edelbrock heads. I was quite happy with the ease of installation. I used a mini starter and I had to grind down a pad on the side of the block that was hitting one header (they mentioned this in the instructions). I had to...

    New fuse block

On one of my Chryslers I added a Painless Performance "CirKit Boss Auxiliary Fuse Block" under the hood. This provides a mix of relay-switched and always-hot circuits for adding accessories. I have no complaints with it. If you want to add a power distribution center under the hood that...

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler Windsor 2 Dr HT 383 Auto $3,800 CAD ($2800 USD) also front C-body subframe Woodstock Ontario (Canada)

The seller is a good guy. We've done a fair bit of parts trading. He is selling some project cars and parts because he bought a couple other 1966 Chryslers that aren't such big projects. You can contact him through the Kijiji ad.

    2024 Mopar Madmen calendar art

I don't remember if I posted my 2023 calendar art here, but I did post my work for 2022: https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/showing-off-my-2022-mopar-madmen-calendar.68309/

    2024 Mopar Madmen calendar art

Thanks! I posted all the pictures here in order of their respective months. On the actual printed calendars the pages are spiral-bound and the month is printed on the lower half when the calendar is opened. Here are a few examples. I do the layouts of these pages too, so I have complete freedom...

    2024 Mopar Madmen calendar art

We can always use more C-bodies! We are mostly in the greater Hamilton area; most members are from Stoney Creek to Waterdown, a couple are in Burlington, and a few are further afield. We like to go on driving cruises out towards Niagara, Lake Erie, Brantford, etc. Where are you?

Sorry, for some reason I wasn't notified that I was tagged in this post (and I haven't been on the site much recently to see the post). That Windsor belonged to a friend of mine. It needed a lot of sheetmetal work to restore it. He has since sold it.

I am the photographer (along with my son) and calendar organizer for my local Mopar club. I thought some people would enjoy my handiwork for our 2024 club calendar.

    Carlisle 2024

It was great seeing you 2 years ago David and the other guys, and the FBBO gang was very hospitable. I stopped by last year with my son just as a spectators. We were on our way to DC to visit the Smithsonian museums (and I got to see another Turbine!). Unless I have a change of plans, I won't be...

Get your Hankook Optimo H724 WW tires while you can!

I would be interested to know your experience with the Tire Stickers whitewalls if you go that route. I've thought about doing that also. If you want to keep the same look as those wheel covers in 15", there was a 1970s Dodge 15" wheel cover that looks very similar. If you're really lucky, the...

Did French owned Mopar come up with a silly idea? 2025 Ramcharger

I doubt that. Citation needed. There are many new developments in battery technology now. These take about 10 years to go from the lab to production. Some include new chemistries that use less lithium, have higher energy density, virtually never wear out, and solid state batteries that are much...

    Tailight emulation...a source of flattery.

I always thought those Buicks look like an angry beaver from the back. The license plate is its big teeth.

    Tailight emulation...a source of flattery.

If the car designers in the 1950s had access to the LED and light pipe tech that they have now, imagine what kind of crazy lighting systems they would have made for cars back then!

Is anyone else depressed looking at new vehicles?

As a Design Engineer and self-proclaimed nerd, I am offended by your mis-characterization of nerds. Complain about new cars all you want, but everything in your third paragraph is wrong.

Did French owned Mopar come up with a silly idea? 2025 Ramcharger

You have to consider the energy density of hydrogen gas by volume, which varies greatly with the pressure that it is stored at, not the energy density by mass (which would be significant if it was being carried as a liquid). So you can't make a blanket statement that the energy density of...
