Anybody every take out old belts out of long plastic receiver and replace with new? Seems to me you would have to remove male end? Was looking to just slide out and replace with my new lap belts I have . But not the case unless perhaps I get the heat gun out hah

Any idea where to get some with the 5/8s mounting holes on the belts? Alot seem to be half inch . My mounting bolts are 5/8 s. And retractable would be nice . The belts on this were with the long plastic sleeve with retractor at top of it They are really beat up.

Thanks for input guys . Appreciate it. I turned key to test yellow wire to see if it has voltage , it does. So key switch seems to maybe be working. I ordered correct relay. Maybe ground wire on starter. Hmm. I ordered key switch in case. I'm gonna hook up correctly

Thanks. That's interesting. Been driving for two years with it. I've replaced several ignition parts but not this one. I do have the neutral safety harness which was unplugged underneath. I pulled it out for now .

Starter solenoid. Is this referred to as a relay as well? This is how I jumped it to get running due to no start from key. Do they go bad?

What about the starter solenoid? Do they go bad? That's how I started it.

The neutral safety switch/ harness is out for now so I could start in any gear . That's the way I bought it . I haven't put it back yet so I've ruled that out .

So I was cranking my 318 mopar in my 65 Fury and it just quit . Now I have a no start from the key. So I bypassed starter and started at the relay with a screwdriver and fired right up. I drove for an hr with no issues. Why the no key start? Starter ? I checked fues , Ballest resistor Seem ok.

After I checked and cleaned connection under kick plate . That all checked out . Guess I should of checked bulb first . Was faulty lol.

It's a 65 Savoy . Canadian version . Same as Fury

Only when headlights are on . Turn signal blinks . Brake lights work with lights on and off fine . Yes only one bulb . It blinks if I take it out of tail light hole . Grounding itself out ? But why ?

Both tail light blinkers work with headlights off. The left tail light blinker will not when I turn lights on unless I pull out of socket . Ground ? Any ideas . Thanks
