Also, these letters are aftermarket with straight shafts/studs, no threads. So I bought the push on clips. Didn't even think of the thread cutting nuts.

I have a 68 Fury III. Actually, I do have those holes. First glance I didn't think the holes lined up with the backside of the letters. The holes only kind of line up. And the holes in my trunk lid kinda look like yours, to me, almost like it was an after thought. Some holes have sharp edges...

On mine, there is no hole for each letter/post, behind each letter to use a 3/8 ratchet.

Alan, Thanks. I'd have to drill the holes bigger to fit these clips.

My 68 Fury didn't have the Plymouth letters on the trunk when I bought it. I purchased the letters but now how do I install them? Even if I remove the tail lights from the trunk lid, no way I'm reaching in there to push the clips on. Anyone have a good method? Thanks Gary

I actually went n looked at this car a few weeks ago. Really loved it with a stick shift, 383, 2 door n leather seats. I’m not 100% sure but floor board behind driver might need replacing. Frame for rear leaf spring needs replacing. Once I saw those two things I stopped looking so not to...

My big concern is a title and glass. NJ does have a way to get a title, it's a 12 step process. I'm guessing but that sounds like months of waiting. Not sure I want a car in my driveway for months before getting a title and being sure if I can put money into it. If I can't get a title...

Not mine but I wish it was. It is in Long Island NY, Long Beach. The car needs a windshield and drivers and passenger windows, they are broken out, and to be revived. He doesn't have a title but said he can get a duplicate. Also says it was repainted in the 70s. Been in a garage for 45...
