    Bad News from ESPO

I had springs made for my wagon. The old timer schooled me on re-arcing and made me a set fresh, with the red hot, arc'd, and cooled method. They are perfect. Later, for a different car, a set was re-arc'd cold. In twice because he couldn't hit the height right, still aren't right and he's...

For Sale 2 pair of Big block exhaust manifolds 69-72 or 73

I know, heavy and a slow mover. I think the part numbers are readable in photos. These are nice condition, no pitting, and they each have the heat stove. Heat risers are not stuck. They have the common broken spring post to limit flapper travel issue. Heavy so hopefully priced right at $85...

Rear end upgrade for 59 Dodge CRL Questions

Chart has an error, in that 65-69 C is 61" with 46" spring perch, as previously mentioned. As always, I have several, but too far away and shipping would be a problem. Unless you have a trucking co. in your back pocket.

9.25 Axel issue. Need input Please

I agree, the front segment of the spring had too much arc. I know the thrill of having something working the way it should, after fighting it. Congratulations! You can now rule the roads in a C body.

Now I know where my $15 rock auto rotors come from

We think brand name is better? I for one, find it encouraging to find the worker actually tapped the blank till the vanes ran straight. I've bought "quality" rotors with so much vane wobble, that they warped immediately. Don't watch food factory if you eat fast food.

9.25 Axel issue. Need input Please

Worst case scenario is having the car and rear end housing supported, and having to remove u bolts, and possibly the iso mount plates and bottom of shock. Everything (driveshaft, brakes lines) can stay connected. Do one side at a time with the other side loosened. The iso mount plate stand wall...

9.25 Axel issue. Need input Please

4° should. Now you have the isomount still in place. It uses a large ( approx 1 1/4") hole in the diff housing to center, with a stand wall that fits in from the upper rubber support. You will need to buy a solid shim plate and enlarge the center hole to fit over the locater wall. You might...

9.25 Axel issue. Need input Please

Iso mount leaf springs have a reverse arc in the front section. To the untrained eye, it makes the spring look sagged. A standard spring is a C shape, and iso mount uses an S. Of course, we are talking to a minor degree. Stack some tapered shims in there. Just reading this thread for the...

Power steering bracket Poly vs LA

You changed your post after I responded. I said So, like I said, I did not know what pump they used for the borgeson box. I looked it up It is just a saginaw. All you need is a 1969 small block saginaw pump and brackets. So yes, those brackets will fit a saginaw. Of course you can buy a pump...

Power steering bracket Poly vs LA

I don't know what pump borgeson uses, so no idea on bracket swaps. But if you wanted to convert your poly to 70 and later LA, you need Timing cover Water pump Balancer Proper crank and water pump pulley Alternator brackets And the big one, lower radiator inlet is on the other side. Doable, if...

Power steering bracket Poly vs LA

Poly motor dates itself to pre 67, so the pump offered then is a TRW, or maybe federal. The 69 cast iron water pump 318 did have a saginaw available. I have no idea what pump you have to have with a borgeson, but if their pump uses saginaw brackets, there is one chance. Or if they list one...

A quick glance at the boxes of parts does not find them, but in my minds eye, I see them.
