    If you could have

Mine would be a 1967 Imperial Crown Coupe, exterior color KK-1 Mist Turquoise Poly, interior silver leather, loaded mobile director. I would be happy with that.

Your thoughts on paint color change 1966 Imperial convertible

I personally would keep it in the orginal gold metallic. I think your orginal paint is probably dull and lost it's luster. I couldn't be happier with the fresh, now 10 years old, saddle bronze paint on Goldie.

    Exhaust Manifolds Ceramic Coated

$180 plus tax, so just under $200. It was the same quote I got 10 years ago so I was happy it didn't go up any higher

    Exhaust Manifolds Ceramic Coated

The heat spring still pivots freely after the coating. I did ask the same question. I did have everything ceramic coated. When I pulled them 10 years ago I used gaskets when I reinstalled them, and plan to do the same this time too.

    Exhaust Manifolds Ceramic Coated

Local to me in Columbus, OH, called Performance Powder Coating. I just discovered them but have been here for 26 years and have a very good reputation.

    Exhaust Manifolds Ceramic Coated

I said 10 years ago when I remove the cast exhaust manifolds again, I would ceramic coat them. I am very happy with the look and hope the external heat reduction will keep the paint from cooking off the bottom of my valve covers.

Goldie will get her orginal heads reconditioned.

I have always been a purists in just about anything I work on and most of the time it cost more to restore than to replace. I honestly didn't even consider an aluminum heads, just like when I had may radiator re-cored.

Thanks, the valves are burnt from running unleaded gas for the last 10 years.

Goldie will get her orginal heads reconditioned.

I noticed the were pretty gummy and some plugged. Will a good nylon tube brush do the trick? I let you guys know what I put into it when I am all done.

Goldie will get her orginal heads reconditioned.

I am at a bit of a quandary. The guy who is doing the work came highly recommended and has been doing it for nearly 40 years. He said I'll do what ever work you want done on the heads, but he feels new hardened valves and seats are not worth it, for the miles I will be put on my car. He said I...

Goldie will get her orginal heads reconditioned.

I had a post about swapping out my original 516 heads and after you guys comments I decided to recondition what I have. I got lucky last Sunday and had a beautiful sunny day in Ohio to work in the unheated garage. They came off without any issue. The good news I will hopefully have them back by...

    1968 Chrysler Town and Country

Awesome wagon! I have a 66 300 383 4 barrel. I re-cored my original 22" radiator 10 year ago. Everything else is original and no shroud. Never hot or any overheating issues what so ever. I drove it in a parade for 45 minutes on a hot day just last year and drove like a dream.

    My lens making thread.

I made a mold for them, but unfortunately couldn't find a product which would work. They were either too flexible or with a stiffer product they were brittle and those little "ears" would break off. Sorry.

    Cool Tool

That butt connector tool is pretty cool. I have been using these waterproof heat shrink butt connectors all the time now.

    Mopar Nationals 2023

I am still up in the air. Goldie has burnt valves and I decided I didn't want to pull the heads until after the fall driving season. She does pretty well on short drives and seems to run worse on extended drives. I am about an hour away.
