1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Drivers Window Slides replacement

No worries bud. I am doing my first real restoration ever, and I got the car of my dreams, that has allowed me MANY opportunities to learn, whether I wanted to or not. I tried the obvious , easy way, of just putting the slide on, and using a plastic pry bar, forcing it into the track, but no...

1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Drivers Window Slides replacement

Appreciate the input. What is a Vert? Yeah the guides are both thicker than original ( mine broke, leaving one side behind for comparison) and the pin is longer, so I will be having to sand down the slides, and cut of about 1/8th inch of the pin.. should i glue them together? the Pin and the slides?

1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Drivers Window Slides replacement

Appreciate the input.I have the interior door panel exposed, I have the owners manual, but it's just kinda confusing to me (this is my first real classic that I have done any wrenching on) as the manual shows the interior of the door, as if that inside panel has been removed. I am confident I...

Hey thanks for that thorough reply.. I already have the interior trim panel off, along with the armrest, window cranks, etc.. what I am asking about, is then further taking the door apart, to access everything. My manual shows all the inner workings, as if interior shell is gone.. I’ll take...

Rebuilding my 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury...

Thanks! I have the Manual, it just gets a bit confusing as it covers 4 model cars in one book. There are prett clear diagrams, but this is literally the first car, classic or otherwise, that I have worked on, so I think it's a little hard for me to read between the lines. The research I have...
