All in 1 welders seem to be all the rage now. Can they really be that good?

I find TIG is really nice, but for 90% of what we do as hobbyists in the car hobby, MIG does the same. I had a Lincoln Square Wave 175, I used it a dozen times and then traded a friend straight for a Hobart Handler 210, if I really need or want to TIG stainless or aluminum I'll go over to his...

Just make sure they aren't the big box store branded versions, they are not the same.

If I didnt have bad luck......

I debated thinning out cars, and have been debating it for a few years, the problem goes as follows, I'll go in chronological order; The '69 Fury ragtop: I have about $10-15k in brand new, NOS or good used parts for this car, including engines, transmissions, wheels, tires etc. In addition to...

If I didnt have bad luck......

The beauty of Ontario is that scrapyards require signed ownerships in order to take cars due to previous issues with stolen cars being scrapped, area yards are very strict about it.

If I didnt have bad luck......

It seems as though the last few years I can't seem to catch a break, back in November I paid ($1500) to store my cars for another year with my plan/hope that this coming spring/summer we would be in a position to purchase a home with some land and hopefully an outbuilding or 10. I got a...

Why you can't buy a new small truck.

Unfortunately they'll never be sold in NA, that won't meet safety standards, and if they did, the price point, would likely increase quite a bit.

NOT MINE For Sale 1969 Dodge Polara Neveda Highway Patrol $12,950 (Not Mine)

As Wyatt showed, you could have a PL or DL police package also, with or without the A38 package, but definitely with the Y39 special order code, as Doug mentioned, usually with quite a few "F" option codes for fleet oriented options. I have two buildsheets and matching tags off 73 Fury's that...

What did you do to your C-body today....

Dodge PB3 Intense Blue, same colour as my 2001 Ram Sport The owner wanted to do the 'Cuda blue, he came by when we were repainting my Ram and instantly fell in love with the Intense blue. I can't blame him as I did too and it lead to one of the reasons I bought this particular truck.

What did you do to your C-body today....

Both cars were basically basket cases, I can take very little credit other then some of the grunt work, my friend Ryan and his Dutch bodyman are the true skill behind making silk purses from these turds...

What did you do to your C-body today....

Shopline and Omni are excellent paint lines that are easier on the budget, we use both a lot at my friends shop, usually for doing exactly what you're doing. Best bang for the buck seems to be urethane BC or single stage for interior and underwood, jambs etc and then waterborne for the exterior.
