    Options for compatible bucket seats

If you find a bench seat you like, I have a 'restored' power bench unit from a 72 Newport I am wanting to sell. 'Restored' means it was disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed, and got some paintwork. That was 20+ years ago, but I checked it recently and it still seems to move OK. If you decide to...

58 Coronet taking on a hell climb.

Reminded me of 1972's 'The Master Touch' with Kirk Douglas. Car changes back and forth from a Belvedere to a Phoenix, though.

58 Belvedere - where to buy body trim clips

I made some clips for my 300L and discussed here, might be an avenue you could pursue if you get desperate. making some body trim clips (and adjusting the fuel-fill door) - 65 Chrysler 300L

58 Coronet taking on a hell climb.

Driver of that car knows it well, knows how to start the moves early for the turns so the rest of the car catches up nicely. IF they got F&R swaybars there'd be a new learnign curve. (quite the pun)

NOT MINE 1966 Dodge monaco 2dr HT $14,000 OBO in Evans, GA

This^. If you're gonna make it so pretty that one's enjoyment must be limited to only looking at it, buy some art.

    NOT MINE 1970 dodge monaco

I think that'd be a good buy at $7500 or so due to it needing expensive bodywork and paint. Great colors. Rust-free, new seatcovers in a matching color that look like they were properly done. Change the hood if you must, get a replacement rear bumper, and it would be no different than similar...

    NOT MINE 1973 Monaco 4 door 440

For future reference, in case we see it again: Per my memory of it last time for sale, it has a TON of rust bubbles below the rear glass, under the vinyl and in the dutchman. Back then it was a decent car for the price, but definitely one that required a gameplan/goal before dumping a lot of...

1964 New Yorker gets 1978 Cordoba 11.75-disc brakes.

FWIW, general recommendations on here are to NOT use a drum-brake booster with discs as it will not provide enough boost in a hard/panic stop to maximize braking. Most of those discussions revolve around C-bodies where the factory provided a specific booster for discs vs drums. How a 64 booster...

NOT MINE 67 Sport Fury 440 4 speed 3hrs left BAT

Well that honeymoon didn't last long. Those are the same pics from the previous sale, so presumably no changes have been made to the car. I saw a lot of detail issues last time I looked at the ~200 BaT pics. The front wheellip trim is stick-on plastic chrome. And other stuff. All in all, it...

    4x10 dash speaker won’t fit

I didn't know optical input would do that. I need to read up on that, might improve some of my plans. Most of my dabbling this last year has been in trying to figure out decent front speakers for cars that didn't have them originally. I plan to start a thread on my tinkering at some point...

NOT MINE The BOAB's twin..and in Ontario Canada!

That looks like a decent car for the money. Good colors. 68 Newport is on the shortlist of cars where I like both the front and rear styling treatments, and hte 4dr hardtop is pretty sleek.

NOT MINE NOT MINE - 1966 Fury III 383, 4 speed WITH FACTORY AC for sale

This car was more realistic when it was for sale for ~12k or so by the prior seller a few years ago. It had the same peeling paint and worn/incorrect seats back then. Seeing the cracked/peeling dashpad, multi-cracked steering wheel, the warped doorpanel corner, the windlace that's pulling apart...

Rear seat back on sport fury

That seat bottom and console are a 65-only deal. I think it is found on Monaco and Monaco 500 only. IIRC there is a Polara 500 (Canadian-model, maybe?) but it does not get that seat layout. The 66 went to a standard rear seat bottom and standard-length console.
