The '69 Ply Fury III convertible we have been working on has a tough looking dash and steering wheel. We need to buy both for this car. Anyone have such? If we cannot get the entire dash, how about a dash pad? It is a factory a/c car although we are replacing the factory air with a Vintage Air...

    '69 Fury III Restoration

Thanks for the comments. We have gotten sidetracked on a '77 Bronco and then on a '62 Corvette but those are gone (well the Corvette is 99.5% gone). We put new floors (patches0 in the Fury along with a trunk floor and lower quarters. I'll be asking some questions here as we go along.

    Transmission Woes

The current owner's Grandfather was a Desoto/Chrysler dealer in Jackson, Ms back in 50's and 60's. This was the last car he personally bought before shutting the dealership. He passed it onto his son and then the grandson (now 65) got it. His son will surely get it next. The original grandfather...

    New Fury III Guy

It has been sometimes since I reported on any progress on the '69 Fury III convertible that we have been working on. That is mainly because I have done very little to it. I can report that we got the entire car primed except for the firewall and front frame rails. this was in early June. We have...

    New Fury III Guy

Look back on page 3 of this thread. The name of the ebay vendor is there. Everything fit good except the trunk extensions. those are made to fit many Chry/Ply/Dodge models and we had to modify them pretty good. However, they were better than having nothing.

    New Fury III Guy

Just about done with the trunk pan and extensions. Moving onto some issues with the metal around the convertible top and the trunk lip and quarter patches. We are going to chemically strip what paint is left (the front fenders, doors, hood and trunk have been chemically dipped). Mike
