Anyone here have headers on their BB wagons

Well, I installed a set of TTI headers on my 70 Plymouth Suburban to go with my previously installed 3" TTI exhaust system. I did it outside, on jackstands and with hand tools. The exhaust system hung lower with C body HP manifolds on it than it does with the TTI Headers installed. Unlike the...

    1972 Plymouth Custom Suburban

Not sure if any responded to your starter question, but the mini starter is for a 1993 ish Dodge Dakota 5.2 gas engine. Almost any dodge V8 starter for the LA/Magnum 5.2/5.9 engine from early 90's will fit. Just remember that you might have to remove the black plastic cable adapter to fit...

    1972 Plymouth Custom Suburban

Nice tire combo, I run the exact same tires on my wagon and I love them

    Pulley setup on a 440

Yeah, I think I love you like a brother! I see blind replies that have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with what was originally posted. Ugh... Unfortunately, I've been wrenching on Cbodies long before there was a 'real' support system (back before dialup internet connections) and I did a TON of...

742 rear end seems very tight, hard to turn.

TTI sells all of it's exhaust systems in sections.

    Pulley setup on a 440

Pulley combos revised! Lot of information here. Basically, you'll need these two pulleys. (Pulled from the 440source page, but the pictures and information is what's important) 383 and 440 water pump and crank pulleys ARE interchangeable between B and RB engines. Water Pump Pulley - Non A/C -...

    Oil Pan Pickup

As long as it works, that's all that matters! Keep us posted. You are using a stock pressure/volume oil pump, right?

1972 Fury III Wheels and Tires

Cop rims. I've ran 255/70R-15 on the stock steelie wheels as well. Ideally, you SHOULD use an 8" rim for the 275/60R-15. Having said that, I've mounted them on 7"cop rims.

For Sale Its not mine its the popo 69 fury

As a person who has purchased two running and driving 70-71 Plymouth Furys in the past three -4 years, I can tell you that deals are still out there. My wagon cost me $2200 and my Sport Fury (since sold) cost me less than $4000. Both cars were running and driving. In fact, I drove the wagon 600...

1972 Fury III Wheels and Tires

When I owned my 2DR 72 Fury III, cell phones weren't around then, so I don't have any pictures of it. I usually ran 225/70R-15 up front and 255/70R-15 out back. The other tires I used 215/65R-15 and 275/60R-15 mounted on steel mopar cop rims. Both sets of tires fit out back without any issues...

WANTED 1970 Plymouth SF hidden headlight grille

Depends on what brake system you use. I used Late Big Ford housing ends because I put an SVO disc brake package (no longer available) out back under my SF instead of a mopar housing end.

Pulled out rear axles to inspect bearings and found this...

I said "the myth hasn't been updated" Clearly, you didn't read the attached article written by a man who has built or sold parts for more differentials than you and I have. I worked at Strange Engineering in the set up department for 5 years, so I've probably assembled and repaired more...

WANTED 1970 Plymouth SF hidden headlight grille

I barely have 9 people I like. It would be almost impossible to have then all in one location at the same time plus, I need cargo space, and like the hidden compartment better than the extra rearward facing seats. Plus, I'm STILL fighting with myself about putting that Dana60 out back...

WANTED 1970 Plymouth SF hidden headlight grille

Not sure how I was 'suckered' into it. I asked for it, but didn't have time to fix it because I went to Iraq for 5 years. Never been a fan of the PH29 profile. Guess I'll just keep hot rodding my PM45 wagon instead

For Sale Its not mine its the popo 69 fury

$1000 (or less) for the blue 2dr PH23 car seems like an okay deal. The 69 Fury is my least favorite body style of the 68-72 Plymouth Furys...

Got a few things to finish up before driving back to Chicago from Texas...but yeah, I plan on being there this year.

    Oil Pan Pickup

In a stock depth pan, either of these two should work. The 440 source (first photo) has a 'curve' for getting around the pan baffles in some oil pans, but it is the same depth as the Mancini stock pickup (second photo) which is a straight tube Oil Pickup Tube Curved - New-440 Source...
