Yeah, thats my 2nd option. I was hoping to score a used one on the cheap. The cost of come of the MANUAL boxed online seems a bit asinine to me. One place lists them for 600! I'd pull the one out of my D100 but I believe they are different...

It's a little hard to tell in the pictures they have, the tank they have pictured looks strange to me...I think I still have pics of my tank install...I'll look...

OP will have to ask specifics because the 65 and 66 tanks are totally different. 65 is side fill, and 66 fills at the rear. The one Vans has pictured appears to me to be for a 65.

I'm looking for a manual steering box. Quick Ratio would be nice but, beggars and choosers and all that. Let me know what you got and how much you're looking for. Thanks, Joe

Just been lurking cuz it's been super slow moving on this pile since I last posted. I retired from the USAF, moved and now have space to work on it, but little to no time. However, there has been some progress made. new cam to replace old one that was both wiped and too damn...

Strange, I got my tank off e-bay about 7 years ago. Someone was repopping them then. I paid less than 200 for it. I wonder what happened...

Needs a nice set of Magnum 500's, needs to lose those hideous white walls, a nice dual exhaust system and it needs me in the drivers seat giving it some "love" and by love I mean driving the snot out of it....

A big block, 4 spd, long roof Fury makes me all warm and tingly in my no-no parts....love it.

Rust has not deterred me. This thing was so rotted and rusted it should have gone to the scrap yard. If not for me stumbling over a 65 that was totaled but had good metal I would have pulled the rear, engine and trans and scrapped the damn thing. you can see some of the rot in this picture here...

Lots of work, tuning, wheel studs, new front runners and tires, hood pins, externally mounted vacuum gauge...my vision of a C body super stock car that never was is slowly developing

I've not much to report. Money is tight and have not had much time to do much in the way of bodywork. I have tuned the carb properly and have the distributor and vacuum advance hooked up to where it runs beautifully now. I did have a bunch of blow by so I installed a PCV valve and got that mess...
