When the motor stops there is still power at the motor. If you release switchable and wait 15 sec, the switch will again operate the top for only a couple seconds

Yes while the top is in motion for a second then it shuts off even with a little help the motor will shut off and is not hot or in a bind

My top has worked fine in the past. now it only moves for a few seconds and stops waiting a few seconds it will operate again but only for a few seconds and stops! I checked the switch and it's working fine also looked for a leak in the lines or hydraulics need help or suggestions.
