Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

I have not heard of a radio restarting itself. @Zymurgy is usually good with radio problems. Testing the lighting/radio issue at higher rpm is a good idea. Also, if you still have a mechanical voltage regulator, I would consider conversion to electronic. @halifaxhops could help with that.

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

If you have a 35 amp alternator and older wiring, you may be losing current as you decrease rpm.

    Wiring

If you have the stock 3-prong switch at trans, you should have continuity across the outside prongs when the car is shifted in reverse. In other gears, you should not have continuity across those outside prongs. Center prong is Neutral Safety. *Did the reverse lights ever work after the trans...

    1971 Imperial & 1970-1971 HP Exhaust Manifolds

Have you test fit an HP manifold on 1971 Imperial to be sure it will hit steering? What steering part does it hit? That doesn't sound right to me. I would have thought the C-body HP manifold would dump too far to rear to hit steering gear or coupler. Thanks 1970 Fury

Perhaps someone did some rewiring. Before pulling everything apart: I would Check continuity from connector at the auto trans 3-prong switch to the fusebox to determine whether you have continuity to power. Then check continuity from the backup light sockets to the other outside terminal of...

New member intro – question about 1973 Monaco exposed quad headlight cars

Yes, you are right The car pictured is 1975-1978 B-Body mid-size. 1973 Monaco is C-Body full size. I have owned 2 1973 Dodge Monaco's. 1973 Monaco is a completely different car than what is pictured and it only had hidden headlight grill.

    1971 fury hideaway headlights

My 1971 Fury had the rolled flat springs on both ends of the actuator rod. I wonder if a B-Body Dodge Charger, 1968-1970 had the same springs. Maybe a question on www.forbbodiesonly.com

Searching for return line on fuel system

Hi. If you are talking about the two 1/4 inch lines on right side of this picture, those are vent lines. These are on a 1970 Plymouth Fury, but same principle. With the gas cap on, gas tank needs to be able to let air in as fuel level drops. Gas Tank Vent ports before clean up

    Electrical opinion

To be clear, are we talking about a cooling system fan at the radiator or heater blower motor? If your 1969 fuse box has these 2 spades, right side spade is ignition run. As long is it has good current, auxilliary fuse box should work OK.

Another option is to pull the dash and then mark and remove all wiring. Then correct everything. I did that in 2016 with my 1970 Fury. I removed all the black electrical tape and corrected each short and contact corrosion. I ended up keeping my fuse box and bulkhead connectors.
