    Options for compatible bucket seats

I bought these covers from Legendary a long time ago before sport fury covers were available. 68 Newport to go with 68 seats. A longer story follows that decision but here are the 68 buckets (passenger reclines) with Camaro power seat tracks in a 69 Fury. I have the tracks all the way down cuz...

    1970 Plymouth Fury Dash Pad

I redid my insert when I got a new pad from Bob. One of locating studs was cracked off so I glued it. Sanded the original lumpy cracked vinyl down trying to avoid the edges. Painted gloss black but had a couple problems with whatever residue/adhesive was behind the original vinyl and had to...

    Options for compatible bucket seats

I put recovered 68 Newport bucket seats in my 69 fury convertible that had a bench and used 93-02 6way Camaro power seat tracks. I intend to do a write up when I do the passenger side. The dimples in the floor pan were there so I just opened them up and drilled through the support brace. So 68...

    Plastic Dip Spray

Ive never done wheels with it but I would based on my other experiences. I used it for the back of carpets to make them nonslip, the frost color for windows. As far painting goes, I did my old magnums and used playing cards for the center circumference and then after sanding the insets a...

    Front Bench Seat Bottom "Firmer"?

Before I reupholstered my seats I added these little helpers - very redneck. Weaved them between the springs and tied them to ther springs with coat hangers. Be very careful where the sharp ends are facing. It helped as long as you could tie in springs that were not as saggy...

    4x10 dash speaker won’t fit

Just build your own mounting plate and move one speaker closer to the other. I say that without knowing how much room you need but it looks less than 2" maybe? If it still doesnt work you need a neodynium magnet on the woofer which will be more narrow and give you more room too. Like stock...

    Aluminum trim polishing

Here is an older thread. Aluminum door sill restoration? While I now have a buffer I used a drill and compared to what is was at the beginning I'm happy enough. I took off the anodizing and left it with Mothers wheel wax. I rewax 1x a year. Kind of like power washing once you get working you...

WANTED 1965 or 1966 Radiator Core Support 26”.

Have you measured the opening in your 22" support? You might find the opening wider than u think, certainly wider than 22". On my 69 (different) the hole was almost the same width as the core of the replacement 26" radiator.

    Empty nester

I second the idea of a college town. Usually safer, more up to date in terms of infrastructure (no Hoss's steak house) and energetic and diverse people. On the other hand, my daughter moved to one of the better neighborhoods in downtown Baltimore and really likes it. Walk to most things and...

Modern DIN radio in 1972 fury dash

Along the lines of a faceplate hiding a more modern radio, I have access to the 3D scanner and scanned an original radio. Not good enough so working with some more experienced people to get a better version. And the idea of magnets to hold it to some metal left and right of the new head unit is...

    Any Electrical Gurus Out There

Sounds similar to a delay-off on the light circuits. Plenty of separate modules that do this. Most with crappy instructions.

Modern DIN radio in 1972 fury dash

why No?. The new radio is in a mount cage that typically is bent around surrounding plastic or dash support structure.
