They are different. I ordered one from Dante's for my 71 Fury PH23 roof. They sent the PM29 roof one which is way different but wouldn't take it back! It is not like the original at all . Stuck with it now if anybody needs one.

I used this on my grille. It works great. There were 3 cracks in it but you wouldn't know now.

I am happy with 17s on mine. I don't think they look too big. I certainly wouldn't go bigger but the original 15s looked like it was running on a couple of donuts! But I do respect everyone's cars and choices. At least our main cars are not plastic econoboxes.

Like Rapidtrans I cut mine and pop riveted them on. The rivets even fitted in the original slots for the clips in the body. I painted the heads black and they look great so no worries here now.

No. It was a friend who built a 66 coronet. They look great. I bought these two years ago so I figured they wouldn't do anything for me anyway. It's only now that the car is painted that I found they don't fit. My fault, I should have checked them.

Wheels do make a difference

First thing I did before I started the restoration on mine was to buy new wheels and Tires Now 3 years and a full resto later it just got painted. The wheels inspired the final look to me so I get it. Mine are 17s though. Will post pic when finished. I would be worried about pot holes with those...

I was told that I can cut it down and remove the clips. Then pop rivet them on. That looks like it will work. Good luck with yours.

Guys I bought the 970478a ones for my 2drht fury but the rear outer ones are too long and the clips are in the wrong place. I have the sport roof Heeeeeeeeeelp!

I fixed the broken parts with thin hardboard from Home Depot by putting a piece under the repair area. I filled the area with body filler then went to a fabric company called fabric land. Picked out a nice vinyl that matched the interior rather like vinyl seat material. I used heavy duty spray...

Yes. They are very brittle. I fixed areas of mine with new hardboard because when its covered you cant see it anyway. Good luck!

This is what I did to my old one until I ever find an original but I won't hold my breath!

Sorry for the delay marpar My shelf is different so it won't work. Dances wouldn't take it back either so be sure before you order anything. They never seem to look exactly like the originals either. I ended up just fixing my old shelf and covering it with vinyl. Good luck and nice car
