    Hi Everyone!

@ BIGBARNEYCARS - Oh I understand what you are saying. We racked our brains on a few things so far and I do not think it will get any easier in the future. You make one wrong move or dont think how a change might affect other measurements along the way and you will suffer. LOL!!!

We fabricated some new inner fender wells to coexist with the new overflow jug, computer, etc... from the magnum. We are now working on the floor boards.

I want to see how she acts with the original. If I do not like it, it is something that can be easily fixed.

    Hi Everyone!

We then had to figure out what to do with the driveshaft. The magnum transmission needed to hook to the '55 rear. So we took both driveshafts and cut off the end pc of one, welded, and smoothed out.

    Hi Everyone!

Of coarse by doing this it leaves a big hole that needs to be filled in. We started framing everything in and realized that now would be a good time to put the cowl vent hood to use. We are going to use it for what it was made for a fresh air inlet. So we started framing in a passage way from...

    Hi Everyone!

We started to frame out the dash with the same support bars from the magnum. Everything was going good until we started to match up the air condition from the magnum. We realized we did not have enough room to accommodate the unit, but I really wanted the "55 to have air conditioning. We came up...

@LocuMob - I really appreciate your comment. It is always nice when things line up like you want them too! @53ryder - It really is not that much. The time is the most critical part of the budget. The 2005 is supplying the biggest part of the budget. I am looking at selling off the parts that...

    Hi Everyone!

Thanks BIGBARNEYCARS for the comments! As for issues with matching it up, there was really only 2 that popped up. One of them you can see in the pictures of the original dash defroster vents. We had to modify a little to have the dash match perfectly. As for the little tabs on the side of...

    Hi Everyone!

Now we disassembled the magnum interior and I wanted to see if the magnum dash would fit in the 55. As you can see from the pics that it does fit with a little modification from the side tabs and as well as removing a piece from the original dash vents. I will post more pics along the way. We...

    Hi Everyone!

Some updates to the 55 windsor I wanted to incorporate rack and pinion steering into the 55 but needed to find a rack that would fit the 55. I came across a 1981 nissan maxima rack that had the perfect measurements. Now we just needed to figure out a way to hold the rack in place and not have...
