@ BIGBARNEYCARS - Oh I understand what you are saying. We racked our brains on a few things so far and I do not think it will get any easier in the future. You make one wrong move or dont think how a change might affect other measurements along the way and you will suffer. LOL!!!

We fabricated some new inner fender wells to coexist with the new overflow jug, computer, etc... from the magnum. We are now working on the floor boards.

Thanks to Rusty Hope, I was able to convert the drum brakes to disc.

I want to see how she acts with the original. If I do not like it, it is something that can be easily fixed.

We then had to figure out what to do with the driveshaft. The magnum transmission needed to hook to the '55 rear. So we took both driveshafts and cut off the end pc of one, welded, and smoothed out.

We didnt want any air leaks so we filled in all of the cracks as we went.

We had to make room for the telescopic steering from the magnum. So we opened up the steering column hole.

Update Wow, it has been a long time since I posted any updates on the '55 project. How time flies when you are working and doing the family vacations. Project is still moving along slowly, but will update with pics in a few.
