Photos of Vintage Auto Dealerships, Repair Shops, and Gas Stations

This is on rt 9N in Crown Point, NY, opposite Station st. Found it by accident after making a delivery at a near by school. It was founded in 1937 as Horton Strong, Desoto Packard Plymouth. There is a wing to the left that is about the same size as the one shown. It's now a bottle and...

Many of those buildings have been torn down and because of the flooding issues along that river with about a 4 mile stretch of it now covered over and still flows below it. I believe that arch bridge in the bottom pic is Main st in Hartford and there is a connecting road from that area to...

New to me favourite TV show. Highway Patrol.

I watch it as often as I can for many of the reasons stated above. I look a lot at the cars and anytime the '58 Plymouths' appear I wish I still had one. And has anyone noticed that in the inevitable gun shootout at the end the 6 shooters seem to never get reloaded and just keep shooting!

NOT MINE 1970 chrysler 300 H on BaT

A friend of mine was bidding on it but gave up when it hit 35k. He then followed it to the end and said that every time a bid was topped, the clock was reset ahead another 2 minutes which happened several times. No wonder the price went where it did.

    Android Phone Issues

Funny you bring this up as I had a similar problem. After doing an update on my phone my messaging, email, and google news app stopped working. They would receive ok but I couldn't open anything. I went to my AT&T store and described the problem. He told me the update had a problem that...

    Selling overseas question/VIN

I'm from CT, a non title state and sold a car to someone in Germany. To get around not having a title I had to get the car registration and the bill of sale notarized. I then e-mailed copies to the buyer, and sent the originals with the car itself. IIRC this is what his registry office told...
