Plus the number of teeth on the older ring gear is a different number to the 62 onwards ring gear. I can remeber the actual numbers but its some thing like 140 odd on one and 170 odd on the other
We regularly resleeve wheel cylinders down here in New Zealand. We do not have access to the new repop parts as good as the USA yet we find once resleeved (normally in stainless steel) these wheel cylinders prove to be better than original ones. Part of this success is hydralic fluid is...
I am also a long term member on the HAMB
There is a guy on there goes by the handle Ben D. He has moved gear for many people across the USA and has never ever received bad feedback and specialises in moving our precious old cars/Hot rods/ Vintage and even aircraft parts. Head to the HAMB and...
I have had this occur many times on older cars. I have a good locksmith who has taken 2 different door locks and keyed them all to the ignition thus creating one key between three different ones. It has never been an issue for me and I dont view mixed tumblers an issue - as long as the internals...
I am looking for the map light that goes up under the dash fascia in the centre lower down. Even though I am in NZ Id be happy to pay a reasonable purchase price plus shipping to get one
Regards Brett

The 313 was a Siamese bore 318 produced by the Canadians and sols on the British Empire markets to over come an old archaic way of taxing new engines. Basically the English system was base on a weird bore/stroke calculation to estimate an engines HP and thus be taxed accordingly. The calculation...
I know where there is a 57 Desoto Diplomat here I New Zealand - a bit rusty but still complete which makes it an unusual car - Plymouth body with a Desoto front
Yes she still has the original wood graining and most of the paint is original - its been touched up in place however she looks good in the photos
I had the skirts off as I had the petrol tank out several times fixing the rust holes
We got them here in New Zealand too. Plodges or Plydo's then de'mouths etc etc. Not too many 58 Desoto diplomats sold here but we did get quite a few Plodges and our share of straight Plymouths and yes all with R/H/D conversions and the Plymouth dash
I am looking for the under dash light unit for my 68 Town and Country. I bought one of ebay but the dealer misrepresented it and its too small (think its off a b body Plymouth)
