Does anyone here have a 440 powered 66 Fury?

I actually have given some thought to doing a poly stroker, keeping it mild and very drivable, coupled with an OD trans from a 94 Ram with a 3.55 gear. Havent ruled that out at all. Mostly cuz that was my dad's vision for the car and I kinda wanted to "finish" what he started and wanted to...

    Ok, now its not working.

I misquoted the guy that's been working on it, he said what you are saying, and another local tech I spoke with also agreed that IF there was a blockage the peruse on high side would be excessive and a vacuum on the low side. Oh yes, my guy that I have been using also said he checked out the...

    Ok, now its not working.

Well I talked to the tech that was working on it to find out what the high and low side pressures were, he said the high side was about 150 and the low side was about 60. He said the high side should be in the 200-250ish range and that's why he thinks there is a blockage. Does this sound right...

    Ok, now its not working.

Thanks. Well, I someone else told me that one hot and one cold is right, but according to him, the LARGER line should be cold and the SMALL line hot....which is opposite of what I have. Not sure how that can be since the lines can only go on one way and the compressor can only turn in one...

Question about c body kickdown linkage.

Does anyone know if the kickdown linkage, and I'm talking about the whole thing, carb to bellcrank, bellcrank to trans, are the same on a 440 66 c body and a 68 440 c body, or are there differences? If different can you expound a little or add a pic? Also, are the linkage set ups for 68 B bodies...

    Ok, now its not working.

So I had my A/C fixed a while back, or so I thought. I replaced the comp, the dryer and expansion valve, and swapped the seals out for the R134a. I only drove it down the street taking the guys word that it was good, and I parked it. So the other day I go to take a short drive and its got...

How many members here in the St. Louis region?

I'm looking to find out how many members here in, say, 75 miles in any direction of St. Louis, MO. Need to make some new contacts not that I've moved away from the drag racing thing and more toward the "cruisin" thing. LOL. Help me out, where ya at? PM if you'd rather. Thanks. Ken. Heck, make it...

BB car vs SB car, rear brake size difference?

Does anyone know if a BB powered 66 Fury would've had bigger drums out back that a SB powered car? I'm prolly gonna convert my 66 to 73 disc up front but don't want it to be lopsided in braking. I really need to find a source (book) that outlines this stuff.

    If you have a 440 powered 66 Fury I have a request.

Thank you sir. I somehow missed that you replied. One thing mine already has is the 8 3/4 rearend. Maybe the Fury I's or II's had the smaller one. Also I wonder if the 318 cars had a smaller drum brake out back than a 440 car? I'll ask this in a diff forum I guess. Do you or anyone else know of...

Need pics of factory wheel and wheel covers for 68 300's.

Actually there are no pics in the brochure of a 300 with any hubcaps at all. I'm wondering if the 300's had caps or covers unique to the 300 or did they share covers with the other 68 C's?

    If you have a 440 powered 66 Fury I have a request.

If you read my post in the "engines" forum you'll know better what I'm doing here, but I would like to be educated as much as possible in the differences from the factory in the area of brakes, suspension etc between a 318 equipped car and a 440 car. Anything you can help with (especially with...
