Hey guys, it's been a while. Decided to check up on my old Fury here and I saw that kp6401 really whipped the Fury into shape. Couldn't believe how good it looked. Now a friend of mine found it for sale on this website. Glad Kp was able to sell it, hope he came out alright. Think many of us know...

For Sale 71 Sport Fury Formal Top

Just logged in to check up on the old car, I can't tell you how happy I was to see it in even better shape than I left it. Looks like you were still having trouble with that knocking sound. We never figured out what it was either but clearly it never affected the engine. Imagine it would have...

    For Sale 1958 Mercury Monterey

I liked the front end design on the edsel personally, That vertical line in the middle of those horizontal ones on the grill were pretty aesthetically pleasing. It would have worked better if the headlights weren't positioned like an afterthought way up on the top of the front end. This one...

For Sale 1970 Sport Fury on CL

Thanks! My dad and I worked pretty hard getting that car from being a lawn ornament to an actual running vehicle lol. I loved the way that car handled the road too, It was definitely better around a corner than the Shoebox. That's fine, I just got a glass packs because I wanted the car to run...

For Sale 1970 Sport Fury on CL

Hey KP hows the Fury running? I've seen worse than that Fury you posted, It'd probably sell easier if the owner would at least brush some of the leaves off, Looks like the quarters are at least there. Also no title is a real deal breaker around these parts, especially in Wisconsin.

    Squirrels are gonna be pissed!

I wasn't even aware that squirrels ate pine cones... I wouldn't be surprised if the acidity of those pine needles on the hood had destroyed it either.

    58 Belvedere 61 000 miles

Really nice looking car from the few pictures. Is that high for one of those belvederes? that would probably be a good price for a fury of that year though.

His name was Chris, I guess he moves back and forth between Italy and Pennsylvania. Like I said he seemed like a nice guy but pretty much wasted my time.

Thanks Cantflip, I'll take your advise. You know what's weird? There doesn't seem too be a shoebox ford forum. Anyhow I'm not planning on changing her body. I'm gonna do a couple performance upgrades though. Disk brakes, wider tires (atleast an inch, I'm keeping the 14 inch rims though.)...

    '71 Sport Fury

Thanks guys! I really like how it handles itself. It has a 350 chevy in it too. I most likely won't be chopping it, I like the way it looks with the stock roof line lol. I will be raising the front end though. It's got a slight rake to it that I'm not big on.

So I suppose I'll do a follow up to what happened with the Fury for any interested parties. That guy from Italy who I said bought it sort of strung me along for a full month. In retrospect I should have probably told him too bad earlier and relisted the car much sooner then I did, but he seemed...
