    Fall Fling SoCal

Great meeting you guys! Nice pics too, Snotty. I forgot how nice that last Dart looked! Still kinda wish I had kept the 4-speed one... oh well. Now i have a 4-speed C-body.

For Sale 1968 Chrysler Parts Or Parts Cars

Hey Chris, I sent you a PM a while back regarding the rocker trim on the 300. Is it straight and unholy? The last 2 parts cars I picked up had holes in the long trim under the doors thanks to idiots using wood screws to hold it on. Shoot me a PM if you'd like and I can meet up with you...

You don't see one of these every day!

I dig it. Then again, I'm biased since my '68 300 is currently the same color while I'm fixing up the body rot. No way could I handle the slowness of the /6 though. Had one in a little 64 Dart and it was barely tolerable.

WANTED WANTED CLUTCH & BRAKE PEDALS AND LINKAGE FOR 4 SPEED FOR 67 FURY

I did it! I don't recall seeing your list though, unless it's over on the DryDock somewhere. My swap has been completed for a few years now. It was not cheap!!! Too bad my 4 speed now has a spun bearing. :BangHead: It was fun while it lasted.

    Leaf Spring Bushings

I believe that stubs300's bushings were one piece, press in style for the front. Same as I got from ESPO. The rears are 2 piece and slide right in. Once I removed the fronts, I pressed them in with an internal spring compressor, timing chain gear and a large socket. Easiest press-in bushing...

    Leaf Spring Bushings

Alright, here's an update. I'm not buying your overpriced parts, and I already bought new ones from ESPO. Like I said, I don't have time to spend being online all of the time. I have a life. I thought c body guys were supposed to be patient and understanding. :wtf:

    Leaf Spring Bushings

What? Chill, dude. I ordered from ESPO. $26. I don't have time to be on forums all day long gone and update everything all of the time.

    Carb OPINIONS Desired...

I may have an old Edelbrock but will have to check the numbers on it to see the cfm. I'll try and do that later today when I am back home.

    Leaf Spring Bushings

Oh this I know! I've had C-bodies since 1997! :BangHead: My 4-speed swap took forever to find all the parts. I drove it for about 2 years after the 4 speed swap until now, because the trans has spun a bearing. Plus it never shifted right into 2nd anyway no matter how I adjusted the levers-...

    Leaf Spring Bushings

Still looking. How could these be so impossible to find? :poke: I never have time to contact ESPO during the week so hopefully they are responsive to email.

    68 300 grille in a 67 300?

The brace that the hood latch bolts to on the 67 may not allow the 68 headlights to open up all of the way. I ran into this problem on my '68. The front had been swapped to a '67 for some reason and then it was hit which trashed the '67 grille. I got the correct 68 grille but then had to make...

    Leaf Spring Bushings

Hey all, I'm looking for a part number for the front leaf spring bushing for a '68 300. The rears are easy, Rock Auto has them listed as MOOG K7308. But they don't list any for the front. Local Autozone lists them as not available. I am pretty sure you can get them from ESPO but I'm just...

1965 New Yorker- new springs for towing

That's awesome! I just ordered new bushings for my '68 from Rock Auto, and will be swapping the springs for another used set that are still in better shape than what I have. I spoke with Laura at ESPO a while ago but couldn't bring myself to unload the money gun. I'm stretched too thin at the...

    The sounds of a poly

Very cool. Just one word of advice (and because it's a pet peeve of mine)- turn the phone sideways so the whole car fits in the frame and it will also display properly on Youtube and everybody else's computer screen. Thanks!

Why did you buy your classic Mopar??

I bought my first 1968 New Yorker to be an engine donor for a 67 GTX clone project that I wanted to build. So, yeah... I was gonna be one of THOSE guys. I sat in a 67 Belvedere and decided that it was too small for me because the seat would not go back far enough to be comfortable. So I was...

Did I mention, POWER WIND WINGS?!?!?!?!? :poke:

    SOLD 1968 300 2-dr ht shell

I'm considering selling my latest acquisition since I don't have the time to do what I want with it. My main 300 really needs the time put into it instead. POWER WIND WINGS! This car has a very straight and (very nearly) rust free rear shell, except for the roof and some small holes in easy...

    See: Body Dilemma

I haven't even touched the car yet. Been too busy. :( I was thinking POR-15 though, and a vinyl top.

    See: Body Dilemma

I had considered that. Or I could just leave my rusty one rusty and enjoy it, then make this one a luxury cruiser. It has power wind wings! But it also has a beat and poorly repaired sub frame. :( Nasty welds and wide gaps up near the driver's side strut rod mount. It's not totally straight...

    See: Body Dilemma

I tried to make the topic punny. :poke: Long time Cbodydrydock member (TNT440_Cbody over there), and I guess this is where everybody has migrated to so I am following along. I've had my '68 300 for a long time and am almost to the point where I can start fixing the body and painting it. It...
