I have a 66 300 trying to restore rebuilt motor but getting the idea id be better off parting out

I could use the drivers side window, horn button, and rear trim behind the skirt if its for sale

I like it when they are modified to have the engine in the trunk

I put a 66 newport drivers window in my 300 shouldnt that fit exactly? this thing doesnt fit right, close but just a little off on the shape. Also wheres a good place to get a new gas tank? any suggestions found a place called spectra that may have one.

Theres also a 63 virtible asking 7k and a 65 virtible asking 4k

The car is alive, its going to nickle and dime me for a bit I can see. In a month or two it will be a road worthy car. Theres an exhaust leak, needs a new set of shoes, other odds and ends, ac isnt in the car right now I'll have to get that figured out.

Im going to ditch it. One step at a time. Not going to stay original. Im taking a wise mans advice and making it mechanically sound first then I'll make it better one piece at a time. Not going to do anything drastic.

Motor made it in the car. Will have to get everything plumbed up tomorow. Broke the exhaust in two today, it was rusted through. I'll have to finagle a fix for that and send it to the muffler shop as long as everything is on the up and up with the engine, tranny, and brakes.

I was definitely tired, working on minimal sleep after a day of slinging stucco on my Uncles house. The machine shop got me a set of rings for one piston for 12 bucks, better than buying the whole set.

I was doing it by hand, got them all but one.
