If anyone is looking, I have a 1965 Chrysler 300 convertible. It was a 383 car with floor shift 727. Originally beige and red interior. Now has a poor white paint on it. Has a 78 440 in it. Runs, drives and stops. Almost all there, needs restored. Only rust in floor I found was passenger well...

The holes you are seeing may very well be the retention holes for the aluminum panel. I have a '65 300 also and it has no emblem.
