I used to own that car. The man I sold it to did everything to it. new paint, interior, rebuilt motor to U code specs, rebuilt transmission. It had the snaps or the convertible boot when I bought it.

1970 Door jamb sticker only has month and year,which is 10 - 1969. So, I will continue to believe it was built on the 20th. At this point, there is no way to prove it wasn't, correct? Build sheet have the build date on it?

Steve, What did the electronic ignition box look like? I had a 1969 Imp years ago with Electronic Ignition, and the plugs and wiring looked like Chrysler. Did Chrysler develop it, or was it outsourced? I can't find the photo of my ignition box, which was on the engine side of the core...
