WANTED 1962 Chrysler water temp gauge

Probably, but a little pricey. It's the only spare gauge I don't have.... figures! I might add a resistor to calm it down if I can't find one. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Detroit Gearhead Gals' 1962 300 Sport

What a great story and history, Denielle! I can't imagine how proud you must be of your "Beautiful Brute". I kinda know that feeling, this is the 7th one I've owned since I was 16yrs old. It hasn't been on the road for 25yrs. It's slowly being brought back to life and I'm chewing at the bit.

WANTED 1962 Chrysler water temp gauge

I'm looking for an extra water temp gauge, mine is acting sketchy since I repaired the needle lighting. It also wouldn't hurt to have a extra Astradome if it has the gauges in it but thetemp gauge is what I need for now. Give me a shout. Thanks

Great Score! I had a chance to buy a 1971 300 convertible just like yours, low miles, triple black, in mint condition for $3500 from a co-worker in the late 80's but couldn't find the moolah at the time. Still hurts me to think about it. Enjoy that beauty!

I had a 65 300 four door some years back. Burgundy/Black. I was a fine Mopar, rode like a dream. Looks like you have a real gem there!

Yes it is. It's been sitting for 25 years, so I've got a lot of work to do. I'm just finishing the engine compartment (3 months). Mechanically it's getting there. I'm gonna restore it in stages (hopefully) so I can keep driving it. Looks like someone Earl Schibb'ed it in it's past, so I'll be...

Nice ride! Great job on the headliner. I gonna replace mine down the road, not sure what materiel I want to use. Basketweave was stock but it's been long since replaced. Headliners can kick your *** but it's worth it!

    Welcome Astrodude to FCBO!

Spent 3 months in the engine compartment. Top overhaul and detail work, lots of detail work! Got tired of the Turquoise over the years, thought I'd have a little fun with Hemi Orange. I always liked the Ramchargher 413's. Time to fire it up. Fingers Crossed. Stay Tuned..literally!

I'll try to post a few more pics. Having trouble loading them. Also, I have a pretty good knowledge of old 60's Mopars, so if I can offer any advice to my fellow C body community, I'd be glad to share what I've learned (usually the hard way). Just give me a shout.

    1962 300 Project

This is my 62 300 that I bought from a fellow that pulled it from a storage building (20-25yrs) out in the midwest. He didn't have the time to restore it, so I jumped in feet first to give a go at it. I nicely equipped 413 car that's pretty much rust free...let the adventure begin!
