    engine idle problems

If you look down into your carb bores with the engine idling. Do you see any large droplets of fuel falling onto the carb flappers? This would indicate you carb float valves leaking by, Or improperly adjusted floats and will give a rough idle. A torque converter with a low stall will make the...

    For Sale 1965 Chrysler 300

I work in California. The company I work for gives me money for rental cars when I'm out west, so I just buy old iron and make an adventure out of it when it's time to go home. Reason for selling. Is: I have 9 cars right now. I'm going through a divorce, and I'm closing on a second house for the...

    For Sale 1965 Chrysler 300

This is a nice '65 300 4 door, 383, 4bbl, 727. The body is in nice shape and straight. There is a crease in the rear passenger side door. It's not too bad. There isn't any major rust on the car. There is some cool looking patina rust where the paint has rubbed through. Floor pans and trunk are...

    Valve Train

Just my recent experience with removing the rocker rail (383) from one side. I pulled the rail to install some better spacers. When I put it back on the engine ran very rough. Took me a bit to figure out that the lifters had extended all the way out and hydraulicly locked. I lossened the rail...

    383 PISTON INFO

If using KB Pistons be extra sure to gap the top piston ring as per instructions. Bad things will happen if the gap isn't large enough. Speed pro makes a forged set for around $400 with moly rings. They are heavier than the KB's and they are flat top. Key word here is Forged!
