    Transmission mount

Don't buy a current aftermarket mount because they are 5 star garbage. Take your old mount bracket and use a urethane insert. Anchor brand is good for using on a golf cart.

    451 went boom

I put a new thrust bearing in and it was better sounding but still over spec on crank end play. Still had wah wah wah noise until warmed up. It had to be wearing the pistons and pins out from the crank moving back and forth. Ran great but I never trusted that engine. Crank had wear on the thrust...

    451 went boom

Reminds me of a 440 I had that had been rebuilt by the previous owner. It started to do the wah wah wah noise and got worse. Finally after a long drive I was revving the engine from under the hood and noticed the crank was moving forward when I revved it. Dropped the pan and whoever built the...

    KYB shocks and shocks

Cheap Monroe's do not even have a manufacturer warranty. Previous owner put a set on a Charger I have and the car rode like a 80s Buick. Took them off and 3 out of 4 would not extend after being compressed and they were about a year old.

    LCA pivot shaft engagement

After you figure out the issue remember to tighten the nuts just enough to keep the pins in position then put the car on the ground and set the ride height. Then tighten all the nuts and bolts that attach to rubber bushings in the suspension. If you fully tighten rubber bushings with the car off...

Petronoix III. What's the Good, Bad and Ugly of these things?

Had a Chrysler with a Pertronix that a previous owner installed. Car ran good but idled a bit rough. I found a bunch of play in the distributor because of worn shaft bushings. Changed the distributor housing from spare parts I had and the issue was fixed.
