    SOLD Offenhauser intake $150

Yeah, I bought it because I'm not a fan of Edelbrock (but long story short, I got taken at a swap meet and it doesn't fit my motor even though the guy swore it was for a B-383) now I have an Edelbrock TM-6 and need this one gone asap.

    Anybody seen this before...

Sorry to resurrect this but it is actually the same type of degradation that tires get with age (essentially dry rot). Plastic and rubber are both affected by oxygen and over time they break down and become brittle because they are basically drying out beyond their flexibility lifespan. You...

    Offy intake

O Oh, I didn't mean as a factory replacement part. I just want to switch from the 2 bbl to my nice new Holley double pumper. The car is just going to be a cruiser but I'm puting flamethrowers on it after I have new exhaust built for it. '65 Newport 4 door in case anyone is interested.

    Offy intake

My problem is that now I don't have the money to buy yet another intake and I have to have this car running before a car show in early October.

    Offy intake

Not going for numbers matching resto stuff..... I need a square bore 383 intake because I have a Holley carb that is brand new I plan on using on it
  16. Grease556

    Offy intake

360 is the design name it is for an RB engine..... I'm not dumb enough to buy a SB intake for a BB

    Offy intake

So I went to a vintage drag race last weekend and bought what I was told was the correct intake for my 1965 383..... Long story short I'm newer to the big block scene and the guy screwed me and sold me an intake for a 440. So would anybody want to trade an absolutely immaculate Offenhauser 360...

    Probably the dumbest idea ever

Truthfully you aren't far off guessing a bobber truck..... Think blown alcohol (ethanol only cuz it's illegal to run methanol on the street) injected 2200lbs (guesstimate) of hatred for hybrids and diesels packaged into a custom built tube chassis with a 1926 ford model t cab on it
  19. Grease556

    Probably the dumbest idea ever

But it isn't a blown big block built for knocking these young diesel nuthuggers down a peg or two..... Yes the 383 will be completely rebuilt and I'm aware I could find another 383 somewhere, but this isn't about restoration or just hacking something up for no reason..... I have to choose...
