These items were purchased for a 1965 Chrysler 300 a few years ago but I ended up not keeping the car. We have 4 new wheel cylinders and 2 new brake hoses. Smooth and shiny finish (so was it on all fuselage era C-Bodies I've owned in the past). Never saw a textured rim on a Fuselage C. I believe the steering wheel you are currently using came from a B-Body. Someone please prove me wrong

It also was the same on a ' 72 Newport Custom and a '72 Newport Royal as well as a '71 Newport. I owned those cars aeons ago but clearly remember many of the details

I confirm that the wood grain steering wheel insert you posted is identical to that of the '73 steering wheel purchased from @Samplingman (also identical to another 1972 steering wheel owned by @oliver )
