Attempting to restore car to original

If it has an electric fuel pump, keep it and if it's bad replace it. On my 65 Fury, the manual push rod was damaging my cam so I took it out and replaced it with an electric. When I turn the ignition on, it runs for a few seconds to fill the carb and shuts off and I get a quick start and it...

    1965 Fury Convertible

Had the same problem on my 65 convertible! All hinges are not created equally. First and as Big John and others stated, try adjusting it. If not replace which I had to do and that was a major undertaking just to find one; even in 1965 different Fury's had different hinges. Luckily I found...

    Identify This Radiator Please

Looks like one I just purchased from Rod Davis here in Phoenix based upon the style and the brackets for a shroud. I am in the process of installing! For a shroud, I am taking a sheet of flat aluminum and having it bent, hold cut and then it is bolted to the brackets you see in the picture. I...

    Electric Fan Pricing

I have been working on an overheating problem on my 65 SF now for over a year, have done hours of research and planning including talking to vendors and other enthusiastic's at local car shows. Those pesky rear quarter windows

Brake lights work only in gear?!?!

As mentioned, brakes and turn signals go through the switch in the steering column. Could be a short in the steering column/switch! Pull the steering wheel and check. Not an uncommon problem. I had twice, replaced the switch, problem solved!

What will it cost me for you to take that, that, that, you know what I mean, off my hands? Might be just cheaper to ship it up to North Dakota; in January!

Clutch Fan for 18.5 inch, 7 Bade Fan.

Drove my 66 GTO here in Phoenix yesterday when it was 103 degrees with the a/c running and temp. never got above 195 degrees. That 12 gauge might still be the answer!

Clutch Fan for 18.5 inch, 7 Bade Fan.

Good comments all. One thing that is overlooked when discussing overheating is humidity. I have never seen any comments regarding this but it only stands to reason, the higher the outside humidity, the more heat is taken away and conversely, the warmer/hotter the air and the lower the...

Clutch Fan for 18.5 inch, 7 Bade Fan.

Thanks for the input Thanks for the input. However, your average high temperature in Lancaster, PA. In August is 84 degrees and here in Phoenix, AZ 109; big difference. When it is 84 here, I have no problem. Regarding thermostats, the 165, 180 or 195 is when it begins to open while others...
