Front door glass removal '66 Polara

Ok. Not sure how you'd do that with the guides holding the glass in the vent frame. I need to get the car home, our weather has too unstable.

Front door glass removal '66 Polara

Did you take out just the vent frame or the whole assembly which includes the door glass?

Front door glass removal '66 Polara

I need to remove the passenger door glass on my 66 Polara convertible. The FSM states I have to remove the vent frame and door glass as a unit. I don't have enough hands. Is there any way to remove just the vent frame without the window glass? I need to replace the guide shoes and weatherstrip...

For Sale C Body wiper arms (off 1966 Polara)

I have a set of non-bright wiper arms that came off a 1966 Polara. They're in very good condition, and the springs seem to be ok. I'm asking thirty dollars for the pair, and I Will include freight in the continental U.S from zip 74012 (Oklahoma). There is some tape residue on them that can be...

SOLD Steering rag joints (Land Rover) for C bodies.

I have four left over NTC3486 steering joints. These are a Land Rover part which has to be slightly modified to fit. I'd like to get 20.00 a piece for them plus freight in the Continental U.S. These ship from (Oklahoma) 74012. Seems that 10.00 might be the going rate by envelope. If you'd like...

    1966 Polara 500 Ragtop

It has been a while... Last year we lost our other dog. He was a sweet boi, and we miss him still. Since then, we've spent a lot of money on our house. Money that was well spent but cut into Mz. Ruby's restoration budget. But I have some parts that need installing and lots of time, so I'm...

    Wiper issues/ diagnostics 1966 Polara.

Ok, so I understand, you only repair the switches not the wiper motor. You're not that far away. I live in south BA, almost on the county line.

    Wiper issues/ diagnostics 1966 Polara.

I'll test the unit and try to pull the plug but am very concerned I might break something. You rebuild these units? How much?

    Wiper issues/ diagnostics 1966 Polara.

Our 66 Polara has the variable speed wipers on it. While we do our best never to drive in inclement weather, the wipers aren't very reliable, and I'd like to improve on that. The symptoms are: Turining the wipers on, the blades cycle a few times then slow down. Sometimes they stop, then...

    Cooling system/temp unit questions.

It must've been the sensor. I changed it for the original and put my 180 stat back in. Car barely gets above the first E in Temp. Thanks to all who responded!

    Cooling system/temp unit questions.

WELL...this was enlightening! So I grabbed an Ohmmeter, right? The original '66 sender shows .11 on the reading, the new '67 sender shows .22 on the reading! I've checked this 3 times and the readings are consistent! I'm beginning to highly suspect the temp sensor! I'm going to swap in the...

    Cooling system/temp unit questions.

CBody...to best of my abilities, yes, everything was aligned. Actually, I screwed up. The car HAD a 180 stat and that worked pretty well. When I put the car back together, a 160 stat was installed. Thus the 160 degree tank temp. The gauge should not read hot. I'm beginning to suspect the sender.
