I had a Nova with a straight six and three on the tree that somebody put a JC Whitney floor shifter in. I did a shifter delete and just used the shift rods. Drove it everywhere.

NOT MINE 1973 Fury III 2 door PROJECT

Well I couldn't answer quickly the question of how many cars do you have? And to date I have never combed my hair with a shoe. And I think I have several more motorcycles than cars. I am getting closer to wanting less cars, like 2 a running beater and a nice car. But that is a time and age...

    Why I drive old cars.

Hell of a place to put a component that requires service. I know some cars have a battery behind the wheel well which would be a more ridiculous set up. The only way I can see justification of buying a new car is if the buyer has discretionary income greater than the monthly cost and replaces...

    Why I drive old cars.

Turns out it's common for these to have an oring failure or a crack where the reservoir connects to the pump...

    Electric bills

I have not heard of any of these installations paying back within the lifespan of the original system. Additionally they were all heavily subsidized with tax dollars. Now that they are all Chinese the price is much lower. I worked at a site for 3 years converting a semiconductor plant to build...

    Are books obsolete?

It's crazy how modern media effects how we think. Most everything is in short segments. There are whole platforms that specialize in content that is under a minute. I will rarely watch something more than 30 minutes. Sunday night I watch coldwar motors. I really like long format discussion and...

    Are books obsolete?

I was recently in the attic chasing critters and decided to bring down some boxes. I put that stuff up there for short term storage 22 years ago. I sorted the magazines from the early 90's and threw out the low priority stuff. I never threw out a magazine I kept them all. It actually felt...
