For Sale 1973 Plymouth Custom Suburban Station Wagon. $12,500. Berlin CT.

Hi. I can't seem to start another conversation because I reached a 15 conversation limit...so I'll contact you on Facebook marketplace. I'm Jack Flack. I had some questions on your car. I had the same car in HS back in the 80s...except it was a Sport Suburban, with wood paneling. Yours is...

65 Fury Lower control arm rebuilt/Stiffener?

The "stiffener" is just a plate that is welded on that strengthens the control arm.

65 Fury Lower control arm rebuilt/Stiffener?

Did you go with greasable lower control arm pins? Or did you stay with stock? I'm still putting this all together and looking to take the car apart very soon, so still in the "thinking about" phase. Thanks! *** nevermind... I see they're only for POLY bushing, which they don't sell for the...

65 Fury Lower control arm rebuilt/Stiffener?

Thank you both for the quick responses. I'm definitely interested in both. Figured they were all a little different in some way, but without a side-by-side, I had no idea how. Craig: I'll get the car up on jack stands and list what I need. I've done a lot already, but now it's all down to...

65 Fury Lower control arm rebuilt/Stiffener?

Hello everyone. I've been planning on doing my entire front end and came across this nice kit for E and B bodies that PST sells. I really like their products and would like to have this for my Sport Fury. Quesition being, are the lower control arms the same for all models, or did MoPar make...

    Stalls when put into gear

Hiya buddy. It's been a while. I hope all is well with you. I don't want to hijack this thread. I'll answer you, but ouof courtesy to the OP, I'll post a new one. "Fluffy black". Lol... they're all carbon fouled, but I just can't seem to get the mixture right. What direction turning the...

    Stalls when put into gear

I'm watching this as I'm having the exact same problem. Engine lopes like crazy, plugs are black as night. I sense a fuel issue, but I've tried almost everything under the sun to get it right.

    '65, '66 Fury Upholstery Sources

No problem. I don't think the OP is around anyway... I was looking for the two rear pillar lower trim pieces. The long chrome side pieces at the base corner of the rear window. If you have them, or have access to them, I'd be interested if they're not total trash.

Hi. Sorry. they were for a different year Chrysler. The hose size and angle are wrong. I imagine yours are identical to mine. I wound up just fixing mine with some spare thin metal, rivets and a lot of epoxy. Did the trick.

    Underhood Ammeter Bypass

Yes and no. It provides a better path for the amps to flow. The last thing you want are your amps, from whatever source rating they are, passing through a rusty old bulkhead connector of questionable condition. Then on top of that...through a 50 or 60 year old gauge. This provides a direct...

    Let's see some Wagons!

Love your car! Is that a 72 or 73 on the right? I had a 73 with the sunshine yellow paint job back in High School... was an instant chic REPELLENT... :(

Aftermarket Volt, Oil, and Temp gauges in 68 Newport?

I bought a Bosch voltmeter and converted my ammeter over. You can't tell. It all depends on your skill and comfort level. I prefer things looking stock if I can, but then again, I also put in a proper electric oil and temp gauge down by the gas pedal. Both are analogue. I do agree with...

What matches with interior Dull Silver? 65 Ply SF center console

Let the masking....begin. 2 hours later, only 4 of the "louvers" are taped. Obviously this will be a long process. Then I have to somehow rough out the chrome for paint. One step at a time.

Do you have any other chrome for a 65 Sport Fury?

What matches with interior Dull Silver? 65 Ply SF center console

Thanks Fellas... I'll look for those. I like the quality of the Mopar paints... they go on smooth and harden nicely. I'm OK with the price only because I know I can't find this piece for less than what it's costing me to restore it. How about the black? I heard using gloss black nail polish...
