They were sold new here in RHD,....and one or two 4X4 versions. I cut up a RHD Fury for parts for our convertible. Interesting how the steering box was mounted on the frame rail and not the k frame. Nice car mate.

Dont buy anything fancy for the parcel shelf..(.the faded bit) just go to a wood supplier, get some 3/4mm hardboard, use the back side of it, ("rough/textured") side, rattle can it satin black, its all it was from the factory. Car looks wonderful by the way, super interior

383 Fuel Pump replacement - are there tricks?

Yes, the rod needs to rest on the back of the cam, hence, "rod as far "in" as poss, gives almost zero preload. Its not totally necc though, if you are a mechanic you can just work around it. Just makes it easier for folk who do not do this job everyday

383 Fuel Pump replacement - are there tricks?

A blob of grease on the end of the rod keeps it there in place, tip...put your thumb on the push rod and get someone to turn the engine over by hand slowly, when the rod is as far back (in) as it will go, put the pump on, there is hardly any preload on the pump arm at that point and its simple...
