Your original post says "dash pad" My answer regarded removing the windshield to remove the dash as an assembly and then removing the dash pad from the dash shell once the dash assembly is on the bench. If you find a better way, great!

In my experience, the water at the rear floor pan is often from a clogged cowl drainage area, causing water to leak past the kick panel, back along the front floor pan and then down into the rear floor pan. If you haven't already, I'd remove both kick panels and vent doors, clean out the cowl...

Awesome! Moved from little ole lady adjustment, to grown man adjustment. I can see some Chrysler tech in 1964 appeasing Mrs. Crabgrass by adjusting the seat full forward.
