Apparently Dodge Brothers started buying bodies and body parts from Budd in 1913, the first all steel sedan.
Budd also made railroad cars.Budd Company - Wikipedia
Like the truck, but $10900 is a super high price
Also, area prone to rust is the outer front of cowl above the top of the fenders, where front window drains. Need pics. Rust at top of outside of fenders looks suspicious.
Had to cab swap this one
Still, it's a finished roof that could be redone. Lot better than a ratty vinyl top above unfinished rusty surface metal. That car's a keeper if you like the color. Price is reasonable. Engine compartment looks great.
God damn, that's a lot of money. Insane is right!
I built my truck from a shell for $5000.
Guess I'll be holding on to it until I'm dead, or otherwise can't drive
1964 Dodge
1965 Changed grill mid-year, pie pan headlights
For what it's worth, I think the 1970-71 front clip is better looking than either. You might stick with it, if condition is OK.
I still wish you'd fix up Pomonamissle's 1972 Gold Fury III with AC, with 400 big block, & without vinyl top. Then we could meet somewhere on the east cost and compare notes on our west coast cars.
Outdoing Jerry Springer. Now that's saying something. After encouraging yelling, fighting, and chair throwing, he gives a sermon at the end. Greed + Hypocrisy = Springer
