Have we seen this one before? 1966 Chrysler NY 4dr Sedan "Rat Rod"

Hate it, Love it? Don't care? I figured there would at least be ONE comment on it. My comment is, "At least it was saved from the derby!" And...will have to admit...there is something about that rat rod culture...a little of it...I kind of like. Some people take it too far, but that's the...

How much to pay for a factory AC setup - '68 300

In '67 Chrysler was advertising "Flow-Through" ventilation, that allowed you to get air through without having a window or vent open. http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/230/page13.htm But I know those floor vents worked pretty well in the older C bodies I've ridden in, too...

How much to pay for a factory AC setup - '68 300

I've nerver done an AC restore without all the parts being there, so I can only imagine what it would take. Thankfully, for our modern drivers, I have an excellent AC tech who only charges about $45 an hour plus wholesale parts. When he retires, dont know what I will do. Move to Alaska?

How much to pay for a factory AC setup - '68 300

"flow through" or was it "flow thru" ventilation? At one time, I think Chrysler advertized how well the floor and wing vents worked as a "feature". When I was growing up, we called it "2-40" AC or "4-40" AC, depending on how many windows the car had. :)

    My 65 Fury progress.

Nice! Color reminds me of the "Black Lava Red" or "Deep Lava Red" that Chrysler offered for a couple of years back in 2004-2005.

    66 monaco disk brake conversion

I did some reading on this and the least expesive is the way Catfish recommends, if you can find a good cheap 73 donor. C body drydock has a tech article with all the right part numbers listed. http://cbodydrydock.com/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.22 Quicker and more expensive is a...

Will bring a good magnet and thanks for the reminder. I've only seen two pics, but what I've seen looks promising. I think its original paint, but we will see. He says its running...thats a plus.

    1968 Chrysler 300 Convertible Restoration

Man, the sub-frame rot that they had to fix looks a bit scary to me! I can imagine driving that thing before it was restored could have been "an adventure". Not to say dangerous! They did a nice job, too. Bet it wasn't cheap! :)

    Question on 1966 Chrysler 300

A guy fairly close has a 1966 Chrysler 300 for sale. Its a 2dr HT, 383. Says its running, but I have not laid eyes on it yet. Sounds promising. What should I ask about it or look for when I go see it? Thanks!

'68 Newport convertible project car valuation?

It's somewhat of an acquired taste, but I like the contrast with the turquoise blue, especially.
