    The car you say want the exact color looks like it is EB3 ice blue Metallic. We will never know because it could have been repainted with anything close. DD1 was done in 1968, the EB3 was the closest. They are both great colors that don’t get much love.

    I tapped a sharp pick tool in the pin at an angle, rotate the pin so it’s loose in the clip and pull it out. It chews it up some, but they work fine. i always thought to get some dowel and use that. Or go to a model shop and see if they have any plastic pins that diameter.

    If you remove the motor with the glass attached to the regulator the glass won’t fly up, it won’t want to go up by itself at all, the spring just balances out the weight of the glass. Remove the motor then you should be able to put the glass up by hand to get the motor back in.
