If you want a resto mod and Performance you are starting with the wrong car. Too much tonnage there. Get a fox body mustang or a 63 nova.

Glass out for '67 headliner install?

I've never had to take out windows to replace headliners. Think about it, upholstery shops in the 70's and 80's did them all the time with glass in the car. Yes it's a bit harder, but the time involved to R&R both F & R window glasses and the trim is crazy.

    What describes a 300

Those early 50's 2bbl hemis with the cubic inches from 270 to the mid 300's are completely different tha a 426 hemi with 2.25" intake valves. however the hemi combustion chamber, valve layout and spark plug location have real benefits to efficiency. it why the 426 Hemi design is still used...

    What describes a 300

You saw how good the 1960-61 long ram Dodge and Plymouths worked out. Most were removed for a single carb. Just like the 6bbl SF GT, few left of the group that was made.

    440 owners - a question

Can someone ID this front sub-frame?

1967-1972 had the same rubber motor mounts with the through bolt. That black one may be a 1965, they had 2 studs on the rubber mounts. See the mount pad is in front of the steering box, not next to it like the rusted one. Do you recall the oddball drivers side bracket in 1965 that bolts to...

Seeking info on parts interchange on 1964/1965 fury convertibles

I doubt any of your wishes are matches. 64 fury fury is a b body, 65 fury is a c body, bigger car in every measure. converts usually had different trunk hinges.

I like points, and they last a long time. Just keep spares with you because the parts store won’t have what you will need.

1966 trans doesn’t use cables to shift, it has mechanical linkage. All different. But it will bolt in, same mounts and physical size. Same torque converter.
