For small areas the Liquid Chrome pens work great. They come in different width tips.

If it was mine, I would replace the roof.

I prefer using the Preval. The cans of touch up paint I've used never seem to match that good. The Home Depots near me, carry the Preval in the paint section.

I also use the clay bar and find it very easy.

Maybe it can be sealed without removing it. If it is a small leak you may be able to get it fixed. I would take it to a good glass place and see if they can do it.

No, just type in welding on a new roof and several should come up.

There are some videos on YouTube that show entire roofs being changed. I did one on a 1974 Barracuda that had some serious rust around the windshield and back window. Besides all the welding you have to measure everything and write it down.

I would also use epoxy primer. That stuff works great.

Some newer models had the nameplates/emblems attached with double sided trim tape. 3M makes a good one.

I like the black side out on the pictures of the car you show. Raised white letters were used later on. I like the look of redlines too. Whitewalls were on your dad's car back then.

Why don't you try using vinyl like the stripes are made of. 3m Vinyl can easily be cut with an exacto knife. You could also make a pattern and have a sign shop that does vinyl letters make it for you.
