Did your NYS police car have a U-code 440 in it? I know of one other '70 NYS car but its a T-code.

99.9% sure the rubber bushing is the same for all the tail pipe hangers from that era. I will double check the A-body ones I have at home. The part number for the bushing is molded into the rubber iirc.

Look for the dual exhaust tail pipe hangers for 1970 C-bodies. Part number 3404038. These came on all 1970 N & U code C-bodies as well as T code Polara/Monacos & Furys Will buy one or more. Preferably NOS but used is ok. Thanks!

I know our '70 Newport has them which also was spec'd out with deluxe seat belts (bench seat car). Could it also only be a convertible thing?

Yeah. Ive seen them. I don't particularly care to much for the all stainless look of them. If I can find original tips I'll go with the Accurate Exhaust system as it goes down to the 2 1/4" tail pipes like OE. If I can't find OE tips I'll probably just do the TTI full 2 1/2" system with their...

I know its a long shot but... ISO a set of original tips (used or NOS) for my GT. Need to do the exhaust on my car so tips are a must! Please PM me if you have or know of a set. I fully expect to pay good money for them if they can be found. Making Challenger tips fit will be a last resort...
