    Convertible top pad?

Do you mean like an insulation pad? Every convertible I had or saw did not have anything originally. The high end Imperials may have but I don't think so.

1973 Monaco, remove aftermarket tint glue

Yea, not perfect. It works best when it can soak, hard to do on vertical surface. I've put some on a rag and held it there a couple minutes to let soak. Still had to rub a bit but it all came off eventually.

1973 Monaco, remove aftermarket tint glue

GooGone works well for any glue residue. Late now, though I've never tried, use a hair dryer or heat gut to warm the window, the tint and glue come off easily and in one piece.

Convertible top - plastic or glass window?

The original top on my 68 was a glass window. Also on a 68 Dart and a 68 Barracuda I had in the 70's. I can't say if the glass was standard across the board or an option. No problem with the glass going up and down.

    6 Pack scoop...

If its functional, I've always seen getting cooler air to the big blocks will make a difference.

    Whats those scoops?

I'd think it would, and making fictional wouldn't be too hard either I'd guess.

    Whats those scoops?

Is that a Valiant behind the cyclone? That scoop looks interesting too.

    Whats those scoops?

Has anyone ever looked a grafting an air grabber set up? Granted, it's cost prohibitive since the kit itself is $1,500-$2k for reproduction. Just a thought, might look cool.

1968 Dodge Polara C-Body Gas tank conversion

Interesting thought. The caps as I remember, were recessed into the sheet metal, nothing a good body person couldn't make happen. It may need to be a side mount, like the 67-69 A-body Barracudas, you may not have enough flat area near the trunk to have it on top like the Chargers. As mentioned...

1969 Chrysler 300 Covertible top replacement

I don't have anything to add but I'll be in the same spot at some point and want to keep up on the thread. Mine has the original to with glass window. The top itself doesn't leak but there is some around the seals. It looks really good but must have shrunk a bit over the years. If I leave it...

    Convertible Top

Tha That's a great picture, thanks, mine has the same thing from what I can see. I can get access at forward end under the well liner, (I don't want to pull up the whole liner if I don't have to). I'll try and snake a coat hanger up there and see if it's blocked.

    Convertible Top

Thanks for the information. I'll have to take a look at how the well liner is attached and see if that channel is plugged.

    Convertible Top

Asking about convertible tops as far as adjustments and sealing. My car still has its original top that's in very good shape. I do though have a leak that drains into the well area from the left side. I've heard the tops themselves aren't necessarily sealed and the water is directed to some kind...
