    400 vs 440 in a 76-78 New Yorker - noticeable difference?

I have had (3) 440 and (5) 400 73-78 C Bodies and all (3) 440s car were definitely noticeably quicker that the 400 cars even though they were more loaded up with options which adds more weight. Although none of them are/were race car fast.

Formal wheel opinion - Factory wheel covers or Chrome Road Wheels??

The skirts came on the car. The skirts also have the mouldings on them and are the same color green as the car. My brother owned it before me. He took them off.

Formal wheel opinion - Factory wheel covers or Chrome Road Wheels??

I have the fender skirts in the trunk. Everyone likes it better without them. I do not, but still missing the brackets to put them back on. For some unknown reason the fender skirt pictures of the car with them installed will not load?

Formal wheel opinion - Factory wheel covers or Chrome Road Wheels??

I love the road wheels. I have about $300.00 into the set on my New Yorker. I also, just picked up 4 more minus trim rings and a center cap for $60.00 for all 4.

    78 sunroof Newport ? ever seen 1 ?

I have had so many 73-78 Sea Bodies over the years, but none with a sunroof option. As cool as they are I have always refused to buy any vehicle with a sunroof. It is guaranteed to leak. I even purchased my newer Challenger R/T over 10 years ago without a sunroof.

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

As mentioned above. I also have a wide valve cover (Hemi) and some triple carb (Sixpack) cars and even my buddies have commented over the years that they are always amazed at how many comments, Compliment or stories that my New Yorker brings up. Almost as many as the other cars.

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

I won once with my New Yorker and a door prize. Only probably because it was the only Sea Body there. One of the judges said his Dad had one like it when he was a kid and that he learned to drive in this same car. He even offered to buy it. Or trade it for a 74' Satellite.

    78 NYB ?

Hard to say. Seems Sea Bodies are all over price wise. The higher priced ones are for sale forever. I would say $1000 as is. I paid $1500 for my green 74' New Yorker w/440 as is. Only thing I did was add 5 new white wall tires.

Thinking about selling my 74' New Yorker

After much thinking. I have decided to sell off of the New Yorker. I will list it in the for sale classifieds here first for other C body guys to have first dibs. I have too many projects, lost storage for it and not enough time or money for them all. I have already sold the 63 Belvedere. Now...
