All in 1 welders seem to be all the rage now. Can they really be that good?

It's like playing the piano. Just about anyone can bang out chop sticks. Everything above that takes practice.

All in 1 welders seem to be all the rage now. Can they really be that good?

I'm no "expert" welder. I leave that to my son. All welders heart is the transformer, low voltage/high amperage, like touching your wrench across the cars battery terminals, wrench gets hot. How the filler material and shielding is added is main differences for basic stuff. Beyond that cheap is...

Ditch that OE carburetor. I like the Eddy AVS2 also. A replacement Holley is ok they are just pricey.

    Seat bolt torque?

They are 5/16 if I remember correctly? Maybe 30ftlbs. Not loose is key, not a critical fastener.

    Rebuilt fuel pump

I firmly believe that if you drive them a lot ethanol is not as big a deal as some of these snake oil vendors would have you believe. Yes I had jelly in my float bowls. It was not causing a blatant problem. Carburetor had been together for 10 years. I changed the engine and needed to do a idle...

    Removing dents from bumpers

Soft wood block on the chrome side(solid piece of pine not the Home Depot stud garbage). A 1 lb. or above ball peen or hand sledge hammer. Don't beat the hell out of it just let the weight of the hammer do most of the work.

    JB Weld, Still the best.

It will keep the gear oil in a Eaton rear end till the next section rots out. Oil pan on a Cummins is only ever a temporary fix, their oil pans are allergic to anything but salt.

1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT Brogham & U code Super Comando

Wow, that was more than gravel. Mine in my Charger has a ding like that where the fork hit it when they picked up the 74 fury that I parted. It's okay till around 80, it is also homemade.

1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT Brogham & U code Super Comando

Sometimes there is a plate on top of the mount. The pinion angle should be set at perches and should be evident if someone ever moved them. The drive like is built so trans is to one side and pinion is to the other so even when full bottomed out to flying through the air you will always have u...

    Unibody bottom color

Correct for all Chrysler vehicles is gray primer/dip, car was submerged in Gray primer/sealer above the trunk pan and trans tunnel to allow primer to get into the nooks and crannies of the rockers, quarters and frame rails. Overspray is all you should have over the gray primer. Once the gas tank...

Real bumper bolts,1/2” do they exist? ‘68

I bought some at the local hardware store. They had a whole stack of "chrome" with all kinds of chrome not stainless. The heads are a bit higher and I had to buy galvanized nuts to clear the chrome threads.
