Hey Ben, great to see all the progress you are making. Did you save the original tank and emissions canister? If so did you line the tank with anything? Keep the documentation coming. Best Carl

Great to see this all coming together Ben.

Glad to hear that this all came together Ben! Good idea to use the plumb line and marks on the floor to get everything within the 1/4" tolerance. Great improvisation in the absence of a frame jig.

Great to see that progress is being made Ben! Sorry that the original welder died. Good that his partner took the job on despite the delay.

Looks like the old farmer drove it "Dukes of Hazard" style!!:steering: It does look repairable to my amateur eyes though. Nothing crunchy! Keep us posted......

Glad to see that you are getting the subframe ready for removal Ben. Is the welder the "ace" that you had mentioned previously or a different one? I'm guilty as charged in saying "what's going on with this car"? Keep up the good work! Carl

What do you guys use on exhaust manifolds?

I've had good luck in the past with the same paint you show, Rustoleum High Heat on motorcycle headers and it's lasted for years. I avoid getting them wet which probably helps.

I guess the red clay, once it had dried, almost acted like undercoat, sealing out oxygen  You had said a while ago that you didn't think Gary @Wollfen would be available for any rust repair on this GT. Did you find someone to lend a hand? I'm looking forward to watching your progress here...

The reflections in the paint show how straight the body is. Looking good!

Good to see you are making progress on the GT Ben. Looks pretty solid underneath. I discovered one of the labyrinth of hoses above my 71 gas tank was folded over onto itself causing pressure build up in the tank. Fixed now. Keep chipping away at the GT, it will be awesome when restored...

Looking fantastic! Great job. I think the red and white are a great choice still. What does Mom think?

Looks just about right to my eye, filling up the wheel wells nicely in my opinion. I don't think the trim rings detract despite being slightly "incorrect". Keep up the good work. You're in the home stretch.

What size tires did you go with and are the road wheels stock width? Looking good in the "hood"!

Somehow this escaped my attention.... Until now. What a clean looking S-23! We don't see many fuselage Mopars in the Capital District.
