I can easily picture some jamoke taking a sawzall (with demo blade) to a 727 and massively flucking it up....

What are you working on today??

That router sounds like a beast! I did similar project but cut tenons on a small, aluminum deck table saw w/ stacked dado, with a helper on the other end of the board. It was shaky and sketchy.... but we did it.

What are you working on today??

Exotic hardwood it looks like. Those look heavy. Nice mortise n' tenon joinery. How did you cut the tenons on the rails?

    My New Bus!

Cuomo's cognitive dissonance prevented a factual catchphrase from appearing on the new plates.

    My New Bus!

Intriguing. Many states are going with non-embossed for all. They look fake. Out here we still make 'em the old fashioned way, although the "California" is just graphics now and not embossed. Yes, I like the previous NY yellow and dark blue plate, those were very distinctive. Excelsior!

An excellent location for plane spotting on the SFO approach path, by the way....

I always think of this as the "Exner Vacuum Period"

    Let's see your Newports

One of my all time favorites. Not sure if this would qualify as a "stripper" or not but it's simplicity contributes to a very elegant overall package. I've always liked the sombrero wheel covers but the style you currently have installed are equally attractive.

    Let's see your Newports

I hate to say it, but as an owner of the same year NY, I like the front end of the Newport a little more, for their simplicity.

Unable to siphon fuel from tank

Well, there's always the tried and true 'suck on it / spit it out' method. You become 'anointed' in the process.... (insert one liner here) Before siphoning make sure you have a big enough vessel(s) to safely capture and store the gas. I find it best to siphon a couple gallons at a time and...
