One Turn Signal Blinks Super Slow+Dash Smoke-77 NYB

It couldn't have been more obvious, i can't believe I didn't check for it sooner, the bottom half of the twilight wasn't lighting up. Harvested an 1157 bulb from my non-running F-100 and now it blinks perfectly. Also, no smoke with the high idle this morning

One Turn Signal Blinks Super Slow+Dash Smoke-77 NYB

I would say it has more of a sharp stink. Floor is not wet but coolant is coming out of condensation line in the firewall. I had the blower on position 3, as it does not work on high. However, when it smokes the blower motor is not on, as I usually don't turn on the air condition while it is...

One Turn Signal Blinks Super Slow+Dash Smoke-77 NYB

No sir, I have manual AC. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but it did start around a similar time to when I used the heat for the first time in a while to defog the window, not sure if that is a coincidence. Also, I've only been able to catch it after high idling for a while...

One Turn Signal Blinks Super Slow+Dash Smoke-77 NYB

Okay, good point on the bulb, I have fixed that issue. About the smoke, any specific resistors I should look for? It seems to come from the black plastic near the central glove box but on the passenger side

One Turn Signal Blinks Super Slow+Dash Smoke-77 NYB

Yeah, now that this has happened there has been a pause to my prior habits. Not a legal problem out here in the country though, I would be shocked if someone said something

One Turn Signal Blinks Super Slow+Dash Smoke-77 NYB

Hey guys, A new problem popped up today. I hit the left signal while turning and it just stayed on for a while. Eventually, it started blinking, but only like one blink every 45 seconds. Right side works fine, unable to test hazards as my switch is broken so if I pull it out I have to reset...

    Hazard/Turn Signal Issues

Thank you guys! Fixed the problem by pushing the switch fully out from inside the column!

    No-Start with New Ignition

Pulled #1 plug this morning, very nice burn, and not too much carbon. It started up nicely, but had to shut it off cause that choke relay started smoking really bad agin. New one of those on the way

    No-Start with New Ignition

Okay, so here is an update. Put the new plugs and the vacuum gauge on, and got it to pull about 15 in Hg of vacuum. Started turning the screws, couldn't get more out of it. Ran it around the block and it was misfiring like crazy. Driver side screw was 4 turns out, pass. side two turns out. Set...

    No-Start with New Ignition

Okay, would it be possible to put on the lean burn carb, or would that not work. It was rebuilt by Dana, so I am sure of quality. I'm just not sure if it would be okay without the ELB ingition

    No-Start with New Ignition

Carb was mass rebuilt by autoline, not so sure of quality

    No-Start with New Ignition

Talking to my dad about it now, I wanted to add that this missfire issue has been going on for about 4 weeks now, prior to the ingition and carb swap. However, this issue is not constant. It started after my mechanic tuned it, but went away, and then came back a week later, leading me to replace...

Awesome, any thoughts on the giant carbon deposits?

And here is a picture of that resistor, the end thst is plugged in goes to the choke heater.

    No-Start with New Ignition

Pulled #1 plug, pretty heavy carbon deposits, also wanted to show what floor looks like. Presumably running too rich? Could be part of the problem?

    No-Start with New Ignition

I doubt this is related, but there is a wire that runs into a white strip (kinda looks like a resister) which goes to another wire to the choke heater. I unplugged it as the White strip was smoking, and the choke still opens normally. I have uet to plug it back in, trying to learn more about...

    No-Start with New Ignition

Another thing that it does to add context is, when it is warming up at high idle, cycles through being very lopey and then running very smooth, each for about 30 seconds each

    No-Start with New Ignition

I have electronic ignition, should I pull the plugs and send you all pictures? Maybe a loose rotor as @Gerald Morris brought up? Thanks for all the help, 77newyorker440

    No-Start with New Ignition

Here is an update for you all. It ran beautifully for about a week, but then I had to park it as the hazards are stuck on. When I turned it on, it was backfiring at idle. Not very loudly, but you can hear a consistent detonation of fuel within the exhaust system. I checked and timing is still...
